Must be a Scottish thing as that isn't the correct length for the arms on suit / jacket in the civilised world.
I'm Scottish and I'd never wear a jaisket that fit. Maybe the colour though hehe

Probably the most ridiculous looking thing I've seen this year.

Note that it isn't cool ridiculous, it's just moronic ridiculous.

Are you that ginger bloke out of the fast show?

The best man's job is to support the bride and groom - and everybody's eyes should be on the bride. Imo it's bad form to try ti draw attention away from her..

I think you've in danger of upstaging the bride. Maybe it's just the photo, but the contrast is extreme. Is it less gaudy in the flesh , so to speak.

Ah, but it's the "attention we" tartan, exclusively tailored by Carpetright...

Can't see it going down badly at all...

Just as well he doesn't have to wear it for the whole day, or appear in any photos, or explain himself to the Bride's relatives. It'll be fine thumbup

Do the bride and groom know you are planning to wear this? If not then can I assume you don't like them? If they do then can I assume they are blind?

ETA: I'm guessing the tailor made it this terrible fit purely to add to the comedy value, he's pissing himself laughing at you.

This.

The groom may think it's a bit of a laugh but you are in genuine danger of the bride feeling that "you've ruined the ceremony, the photos etc" if she doesn't like the outfit. Forgiveness may not come easy. Not sure I'd want to draw so much (negative) attention to myself on the bride's big day.

They cant be worse than that!

Seriously, that's terrible and you're at risk of upstaging the bride as well as ruining the wedding photos. For which you'll never be forgiven.

For what it's worth, the kilt is actually okay. It's all the other stuff that is a bit (lot) wrong.

The kilt would look good with a nice dark Argyll jacket and maybe a plain leather sporran.

You have taken it too far sir redface
Wear a day sporran to a wedding? You peasant. wink

You need a plan b. between now and Saturday get a suit and take it with you. Those comments above are pretty spot on. You upstage the bride, you'll never be forgiven.

I don't believe for a second that you or any living human being, drunk or not, would wear that for anything expect a pantomime at an Ofsted falling school.

Well if it's a day wedding that's the correct thing to do. And the jacket seems to be an Argyll, which is correct for a day ceremony.

The OP will need to remember to take the running stitches out of his kilt before he wears it though..........
