Yawn.

Good on you for braving the PH toss pots.
I never reply to these sad woe-is-me threads.irked

However. All I will say is before anything you have to love or like yourself. Everything ekse is pretty much pointless.

You come across as ok. PM me and I'll give you some advice, my FB account and email. If you like.

(I don't have anyone who likes me. Even Chemical Chaos said I'm a freak. frown)

It sounds like you are going through depression and you are soul searching to find the cause for it.

Exercise or being outdoors is a great tool to lift it. I don't believe that you always need medication if you can self medicate. You need to get out more. Like it has been suggested, find something to occupy you and join a club. If you're into cars then look for pH meets, or if you like running or cycling or golf then find others to go out with.

I can relate to some of this stuff myself, and if you don't find something to occupy you, you can find your thoughts doing the occupying for you which can lead to bigger problems.

I say "Man up....It's only mental illness, and a bit of depression, low self-estime and low self worth that is stopping you being the man you'd like to be. It's not like you are deaf and blind and are missing a couple of limbs. It's not like you are actually ill, so stop being sorry for yourself and get a grip"
The 1970's are on the phone, they'd like a word.

Saying "man up, it's only mental illness" is like saying "man up, you've only lost both your legs".

Though I'm sure this is a troll post, it has to be. In which case, I bit, so maybe I'm the one with a mental illness.
I wasn't trolling. I was being Ironic. Although never having been diagnosed with any sort of depression or mental illness I have had a few periods of desperation, and looking back at the low periods of my life, when I was miserable and down trodden, and lacked self worth, I can see that being told to pull myself together would not have helped at the time, but actually, realising how much I had, compared to some would have done me wonders.

Count your blessings, might sound like a cliche, but also might be the start of moving forward.

Your not well op

Got depression, anxiety and what not by sounds of it, it's a horrible place to be.

Mental health is still to a degree a very taboo subject, and not understood.

It's a constant pain inside your head, trying to get out of it is very hard. But you need to try. New things is the way forward.

As some have said a club / pastime is a start, yes it's hard Especially when your down on yourself but please just go anyway.

Good luck .
