Northern France looks to be suffering the same weather - but a couple of degrees up on the UK.

We'll be at Chateau Puggit between Tours and Le Mans - where will you be, Bill?

Gorgeous day down here, probably about 22 in the sun with virtually no wind. Most agreeable.

(not my pic)

Considering when I woke up it was overcast and looking likely for raining by 3pm the sun was out and was 20c hoping for more of this.

I saw a little rain today but turned out better than the forecasts I saw.

Hope that doesn't mean tomorrow turns out bad.

I went out in the Lomax today and got really sun burnt on my face, neck and wrists. So much so that I think the shower in the morning might be difficult to bare

We were glamping in Meon, near Petersfield, Hants over the weekend. Three seperate weather apps and the BBC all promised that periods of rain and thunderstorms would roll in at different times. They seemed to disagree with eachother.

None were even close to accurate. I think there was a sorry, 15 second excuse for a shower on Sunday evening. Otherwise, warm sunshine and high, scudding clouds dominated.

Still hoping for weather good enough to drive to tomorrows SS near Aylesbury with top down.

"Rain clearing to sunny spells"....so says the weather on BBC red button.

I fitted new wiper blades to the Fiat today, hopefully they'll go unused tomorrow.

Just been out on foot and starting to rain.

Be nice if it could stop by 7.30am.

Here in the North West, I can't remember a May so cold & windy; I've done less cycling this month than March or April.....

It started like that for us yesterday but thankfully didn't last long. Just got the BBQ lit for burgers tonight.

Am I missing something here? Has summer actually bypassed us this year and been waylayed by some other land mass. I'm still cycling in my winter gear. It's flippin cold.

Officially summer doesn't start until tomorrow.... but they are forecasting warmer, sunnier weather for later this week.

We..will..see.
