Monday looks similar, so a couple of days in early May isn't toooo shabby.

Summer has arrived in Dubai. Unfortunately.

On a positive note, I picked one of these up on sale yesterday.

Hey Puggit. Out of interest do you find that website more accurate than most?

And on the same theme do you have any favourite Android or fruit-based apps?

My current go-to's are WeatherPro and BBC Weather.

Next three days could all potentially be 20 degree'ers, for London. . . .fingers crossed

Lovely and warm here today in Guernsey for Liberation day + 1. A warm SE wind and lots of sun.

Weatheronline allows you to compare the models and look around various theories - it's mostly about self-forecasting.

I use the netweather forums for detailed break down of what's likely to happen.

As for automated apps - they are all much of a muchness under 5 days. The BBC app on my Android is pretty good.

Unsettled week thanks to the jet stream pointing right at us.

However...

The long weekend is looking good. A ridge of high pressure is looking like expanding over us from the Azores High - so this will favour more SWerly areas of UK. It may well bring winds from the north, so won't be hot in that case.

Well it was peeing down in Cambridge and Royston this morning but it's died off in the early afternoon, no thunder though.

I've been BBQ'ing most nights for the past 3-4 weeks now. Aside from being much healthier and tastier, it's a good excuse to sit back with a beer after work.

My last BBQ was yesterday evening. We had about 25C during the day as it cooled down quite a bit from Friday.

Neasden? Looks slightly more exotic to me... Maybe Edmonton?

This is Neasden right now. smile

Was horrible this morning, blowing a hoolie with rain again till about 2pm but has brightened up a bit as you can see. Still a bit breezy but hoping to get out on the cycle this evening once I have replaced the tube I punctured on Saturday.

My parents had a very similar place there for many years. In fact, my dad's down your way now. smile

It's not a bad part of the world. I've been out here for four years on the 11th June and prior to that I was in Vienna for 6 years.

It's more than likely I'll end up settling here permenantly too as I have a job, home, car, fiancee, dogs, cats, car and pretty much my whole life down here.

Added to that I had another BBQ last night wink

As today is a BBQ day in the SE, I thought I'd share this great marinade:

Next week sees high pressure influence the UK, but as mentioned before, bringing a northerly wind - so not warm. Next weekend potentially looking poor with a low pressure system. This isn't funny as it's my birthday, and we'll be catching a 5.5 hour ferry home from France!

Hmmm, I'm on a ferry that weekend too. How's this week in France looking? Apart from tomorrow I'm optimistic.

Eta and tomorrow seems to have perked up. thumbup
