Ordinary im a suit and tie man during the day and a jeans/shirt man in the eves

Of late, I've rediscovered how comfy a nice pair of jogging bottoms can be.....and then I've further discovered the delights of a top in a similar light fleecy material

The only trouble is sportswear tends to be the exclusive uniform of chav and this is not the image I want......so is it doable without looking chavvy?

I always wear hoodies, mainly with jeans but break out the trackies occasionally. Couldn't give a fk if I look like a chav as I get out of my Vauxhall. I generally don't care what people think of me biggrin Saves a lot of stress smile

Yes, if you're training.

You'd look a right tt running around the block in your chinos.

If the leisure wear is free of logo's and such and in a subtle colour , I think it is fine.by the way, I wear tracky bottoms at work smile

As a general rule I won't leave the house wearing jogging bottoms.

I make an exception for a regular long distance drive to visit relatives due to them being so comfortable and TBH it does make me feel like wearing them more often.

I get as far as the garden to cut the grass, but definitely wouldn't go away anywhere wearing them.

That's very cheap for a track suit!.....but still looks chavvy if you are not about to do something athletic!

Just take up jogging. Possibly away from a shop having forgotten to pay for the stuff in your pockets.

Trackie bottoms to wash the car in! Apart from that I have worn them at the gym ( when I used to go) beyond that never in public.

My family slags me rotten when I get there and demands that I change them before we go anywhere, my mum says I look like one of the local Eastern Europeans biggrin

You probably do if you wear tracky bottoms with your work shoes. hehe

As long as its not 'shell suit' you'll be alright. The types which you wear while training - Canterbury, Kooga etc - are not chavvy at all. I often wear a hoody and tracksuit bottoms. They're very comfortable and stuff what other people think!

In your house - OK

On the way to the gym, run, swim - OK

Shopping on the way to or from gym, run, swim - only just, if I pop into a supermarket on the way back I think I look like a chav.

Washing the car - just about, as long as it's hidden from view from the public highway.

Any other time - no. (Unless you are a chav, but in that case you wouldn't be asking smile )

Great if you want to walk around with your hands down the front playing with yourself like many do.

I own no bottoms other than jeans, trousers and shorts.
Hate trackies and instantly think "ASBO"

I wear them for the gym but I won't stop at the shop or go anywhere else till I've been home and got changed, I draw the line at hoodys though, I wouldn't wear one if you paid me, to me they mark you out as a total plank.
