I didn't see what led to him being banned, but I'm willing bet the following happened -

Lots of PH'ers sticking the boot in, he didn't cope with it well and lashed out, resulting in a ban.

No. you're wrong. Yesterday evening the forum was spammed relentlessly with countless threads detailing bomb threats, death threats, threats of violence to person and property along with excessive swearing and foul language all mixed with puerile "I want revenge" frothing.
The was some reaction to this, most definitely, but the most apt was the reaction by the mods.

He got VERY aggressive in the Website feedback forum making threats towards a few individuals!

He had a big chip on his shoulder about rich people who could afford to insure their cars when he thinks that insurance companies are just run by s who want to rip him off!

By the sounds of the most recent posts on the Pug forum, the mods there have banned him quite a few times for various reasons during that 6 year period.
