Again, I don't believe he is a troll.

I think it's someone genuinely losing the plot.

Posters that deliberately wind up people like the OP need to take a step back IMO, it can be like poking a hornets' nest.

I reckon that if, after googling, your forum profile leads back to your real name/address and that you go around insulting a bunch of people like OP, the chance of your house burning down increases dramatically.

I never have and never will understand why people get so angry on the internet.

It's quite simple really. You know how people get road rage because they're in a big metal box and feel safe?
People on the internet are behind a screen, they must feel even safer and more willing to act aggressively without fear of repercussions.

Correct.

Internet forums bring out the best and worst in people. The element of anonimity and safety does encourage certain people to talk to others in ways that, in all probability, they wouldn't do in a face to face scenario.

I don't necessarily mean the reaction so much as why the hell anyone would let it get to them so much.

Still point taken, internet Kenneth Noye's are out there I guess.

If someone's mental state is less than stable, they tend not to react rationally.

Surely after a while, and several bans would you not start to get the picture and adjust you posting style accordingly? I just don't see the point in getting all aggressive over a lot of crap that we all type here every now and then

i think he pays for the privilege.

His outbursts are similar to 4chan or reddit rants, megalomaniac complex, nothing new, very 2000's sytle.

I wonder if this spastic head and his constant autistic trolling is behind the lockdown currently in place all across PH.

I have several friends who are relatively new members that joined for the discussion in the computer gaming board. None of them can currently post, even in website feeback, due to getting the message:

"The forums are currently not accepting posts from new members.
This is due to persistent abuse earlier today.
The forums are likely to stay in this mode for some hours.
We apologise for the inconvenience and hope you'll return later."

Really fking handy when we're trying to get organised for a tournament later on tonight! furiousbanghead

It might just be me that thinks this, but why would people join a car forum for such purposes?
