If you say the word, bacon, sausages, scrambled eggs and sauteed potatoes slowly...you feel hungry.

Morning hungry hippos.

As I can't find it, I'm now wondering if my debit card is still in the pocket of the shirt I wore to Goodwood yesterday. As soon as the washing machine has finished its washing cycle I'll have look. irked

Mrs C found a teabag in the pocket of a shirt I'd been wearing after it had been washed. The shirt had an isolated area of the old tie-dyed look.

If my mug has a bit left in the bottom, I put the teabag in my shirt pocket until I get to the kitchen. I must have been diverted during my beverage making.

I don't. I've just had a massive bacon sarnie, and I must say the crispiness of the bacon was just right. Days off to a good start.

I think I might be deaf.

ACDC last night. To be honest, the sound wasn't great, the levels were a bit all over the shop, the bass and rhythm guitar were too loud.

But generally, everything was too loud. It was far too fking loud.
A few good few years back me and Mrs. Nutsattending a soiree with Ian Gillian. The some, Brighton, more used to mor singers and not speakers tacked floor to ceiling. He was loud. it hurt. really really hurt. We left after 20 minutes.

They are extraordinarily ineffective as payment cards. Of any sort.

Haha, it crossed my mind, but the engineer really needed to get his st together, the levels were all over the shop, random feedback, dunno if maybe the second guitar was so loud because he'd removed all the extra pups and pots from his guitar, leaving one in the bridge position and one volume, meaning the output would be higher, but you'd have to assume he was aware of the instruments they'd be playing.

His guitar was just way too loud though, where we were. Most of the 15 minute guitar solo, all we could hear was the rhythm thumping one chord repeatedly.
biggrin (It's pure jealousy!!)

Couple of other mates were there too last night & said similar, so I think you're right

I was 19, I went to see Metallica at the nec.
I was deaf for 2 days.
I used to like very loud music.
I dont know whether to blame my tinnitus on the loud music as a kid, the working on a fecking loud MRI scanner or on the fact that my TVR is really loud.

Every gig hurts my ears these days frown

Mum always told me that listening to loud music through headphones would do me damage, but did I listen? Of course not.

I use noise cancelling earphones instead of earplugs when using noisy stuff (like shot blasting) at work...
