My left knee is fked after getting knocked off my push bike 10 years ago... the clutch in the Land Rover (both mine and dads) is very heavy, the pain fades to a dull ache after about 20 minutes of double de-clutching.

Think of it as Automotive Physiotherapy thumbupdriving

Just realised I have beer drinking habit or two. Sometimes I drink bottled beer but mostly I drink pints. Right handed. In a straight glass. And when I lift the glass I slide my little finger under the glass as a precaution against it sliding from my grip. Done it for more than forty years. Only just realised.

As your token German, I shall provide the glasses, there are no such problems with German beer glasses.

The best way to deal with moles is to ram a garden fork into the molehill when you see it moving - a lot quieter and safer than shooting at it....
Our Mole Patrol is better still:

Shame really as they're awfully cute and their fur is amazingly velveteen, having more of a wild country than anything remotely formal by way of a garden, the odd molehill isn't an eyesore.

At least they eat the rabbits, mice and voles, guess moles aren't tasty.

That's jolly civil of you, HN, but if you're suggesting handles it's no good; I prefer straight glasses despite their slide-through tendencies.

I am absolutely convinced that after I defecate in the company toliet, and the warm, pungent aroma of my fecal material perfuses the poorly ventilated sanctuary, an elderly gentleman in accounts immediately dashes to the scene of my scatty exploits.

If anybody here indulges in the same practice, then kindly educate me, what the flying fk is that all about?

Fairly trivial, all things considered.

Some of you may recall my eldest son was head hunted for a job early last year and moved out relocating to a city the other side of the country from me. Then he started a second career in a nightclub. Well recently he's been head hunted again and is going to Paris to work (hopefully not permanently). Not bad for having only just turned 21.

Good news biggrin

Since when was Birmingham "the other side of the country" from MK/Bedfordshire confused I spend a lot of work time in Bedford and MK; it's not too bad a trip from Brum.

Bishops Stortford (a recent visit) is a complete pita to drive to irked

Blue sky and warm here, yet again.

See if we can get our own boat running today. It's been out of the water for a year, had new heads and valve train, new cooling system and a modified hull step in carbon/kevlar. Should be quick enough with twin V8s.

Good morning campers!
I woke up to this view from the bedroom window this morning

Another "Village Day" dawns!
That means I'll have to get out and get all the shopping done early before they close the road at 10:00! frown
