Perhaps you would like to contemplate why people inside cars have no concept at all of how invisible they are from outside. Even when they have been fruitlessly windmilling their arms about for fifteen or twenty seconds.
How does one 'windmill' the arms while seated in an automobile? Or are we at cross-purposes and you really mean a impromptu musical happening with accompanying jazz hands? These things matter.

Talking of Xmas (well I know we're not really), but as it's nearly upon us, i'd like to wish you all a happy easter.

Eat your heart out Immanuel Kant.
Monty Python's Bruces Philosophers Song popped up on my iPod earlier.

Iiiiiiimmannuel Kant was a real piss-ant
Who was very rarely stable,
Heidegger Heidegger was a boozy beggar
Who could think you under the table....

Yes, upon reflection, I fancy you are right - How I love ya, how I love ya - the mental image I was trying to convey was one of, 'they would have been windmilling had they they not been constrained by sitting in a car.'

As your token German, I shall provide the glasses, there are no such problems with German beer glasses.
That's nothing. I'm the token English Cad Operator in an office full of Welsh engineers and designers. For those who don't know, the Cad Operator is the lowest of the low in the design office. The guy I sit opposite prefers to speak Welsh whereas I'm only fluent in Sarf Lahndan, he's soft spoken where I'm a bit deaf and he stammers. It does get a bit tense in there every now and then.

Ah, but, you are known as Dicky the Cad.

An Aston based special awaits.

Rather.

Good evening

Calculations (diesel and grit consumption) have shown that due to the completely useless (but mysteriously still employed) labourer and Equipment failure ... I am behind schedule by 3 hours.

Bearing in mind my assistant (the never present labourer) has only appeared for 6 of the last 11 working days and spends most of his time sat in a corner hiding in the dust cloud when he is there irked I reckon I'm doing OK

Hmmm. I pictured The TT Special as a 27 litre Liberty engine with wheels. Or possibly a Merlin if the budget would stretch.

Thinking of which, two things occur to me about the Greek shambles. One is the No Vote, where i believe you should only really say 'I'm all right, Jack' if you're all right and the other, possibly more important point, is that Christine Lagarde could have me if she played her cards right.

Hopefully you are now off the M4 and are not posting from the central reservation.

Made it home safely. After being stationary for about an hour due to a crash about half a mile ahead, I power napped in the sunshine. Plenty of updates from the other drivers as they walked amongst the cars - one bloke was on the roof of his Discovery with a pair of binoculars giving a running commentary as to what was going on.

You had me seriously worried until I read that last post! eek

ION, got my results today. Despite a pretty rough time with my least favourite module in the Christmas exams, aceing some of the summer ones and all of my coursework/lab sessions has brought my back up to a 2:1 for the year. That's a massive weight off my mind!
Now I have a weekend of Formula Student to look forward to before starting my year of gainful employment bouncebouncebounce

I say! Liberty, please, with the heads poking out of the cowl revealing the novelty of exposed valve gear.
