Driven 1244 miles since 5.30pm yesterday.
I really should go to sleep,ref that ^^^^I left Holjes,Sweden at 5.30pm Sunday,drove till about 1am,360 miles.
4.30am start driving again from somewhere between Gothenburg and Helsingborg, drove all day till I arrived in Calais
at about 8.50pm,grand total as above.
900 miles in one go is seriously impressive stuff iva. As soon as I have money I'll be planning a few road trips myself, I'll give you a shout when I do as you seem to do a few!
In other news, this bandage is wrecking my head. I'm not sure if it's just me or what but my skin hates the adhesive on the bandage tape, the itching is almost unbearable. I'm trying to do be a little budda (calm and unflustered, not fat!) and ignore it but I'm only somewhat successful.

I got star-struck today.
Just to clarify, the next sentences are not me trying to show off/boast, they are to set the scene
I've met with the princes and princess Diana.
Raced and beaten Lewis Hamilton.
I've met Nigel Mansell, Prost, Button, Alonso > Insert other racing drivers names here.
Raced online with Mathias Beche, Villeneuve, Justin Wilson...been to Alton Towers with Daniel Wheldon (RIP) and sat next to Nasty Nick at Brands Hatch. Ok, so it all involves Motorsport, but I've never been phased by it all.
But today, I sent a SnapChat of my daughter, who is 20 months old, to Chelsea Peretti and she watched it and replied with 'aw'.
I'm made up. Absolutely over the moon...
Well that all reads as fine and dandy, but it begs the question...Just to clarify, the next sentences are not me trying to show off/boast, they are to set the scene

I bid thee good morning.
I hang to the left.
Pictures available, upon request.
As he measured me for my first bespoke suit, the tailor asked, "Which side do you dress, sir?" I said, "Pardon?" He said, "In the morning, sir, when you put on your trousers, which side do you dress?" I said, "The side by the radiator."I hang to the left.

That is an uncomfortable question when the tailor is down on his knees in front of you.
From what I read a while back on a web page less than salubrious in nature, there are a few peoples in the world who can legitimately claim 'both'.
Today will be spent mainly giving builders water, tea,, biscuits and other assorted requirements to make sure they get the job done well. In days of yore, it was entirely possible to speed up the work rate by stimulants. Caffeine and chocolate digestives are proven to work, but none more so than the copy of the daily star kept in sight, but just out of reach.... until lunch time. it's a well known fact that builders work rate drops off exponentially after lunch.
In that respect they are like old cars.. warm them up gently, thrash them within an inch of their lives for a good couple of hours and then ease off the gas for a few more as they preen themselves in preparation for the passing yummie mummies from 2:30 onwards. DickyC, you should have been a builder

Well that's troubling. I didn't wake up until 8.00, normally running around by 6.30, so taking the morning off. Had a crap night's sleep.
As to the South African question, not many. I dated one, Karri (say it with a long, hard Arrr), who was the skinniest girl you've every seen. One day she managed to lose her late mother's ring while swimming off a beach in Antigua. Fishy to the rescue, I donned my mask and flippers and did a search pattern. Within 15mins I'd found the little bleeder.
She was too nice for SA and is now living in NZ with 2 kids, Sunflower and Rainbow.
