Have a word please DC ,Battert won't serve me breakfast....irked
It's 11:59

Breakfast is only served until 11:30

You'll have to have his Mega Brunch (breakfast but with chips, not hash browns)
This. Pragamtism and/or adaptability.

Or bribery.

Threats rarely work with Battert. He and Mrs B have been married for nearly seventy years. He's immune.

The waters of Swansea Bay are frozen over.
That's not Ice Dicky, there was a student union party last night and the breeze was blowing offshore.
No.1 son was at Swansea University (where he met my DiL, a Valleys Girl, which goes some way to explaining how I managed to produce Welsh grandsons). One time I went to visit I tested his knowledge of Swansea Jack*. He's a bright lad but he did not have the first clue what I was talking about. Worse, when I explained, he did not find one flicker of interest. This disparity in attention to trivia could explain why I have 10,000 times as many PH posts as he does.

*Swansea Jack was a black retriever whose hobby was saving drunks and others who fell in the Bay. He responded to cries for help by jumping in and hauling to safety whoever had fallen in. Twenty seven souls he saved they reckon.

Bumped into and had a small chat with Steve Plater of BSB/TT fame at the NEC, he'd just signed to ride for HM Plant on the ex Colin Edwards SP2's

Was quite funny, saw him, was not sure it was him, did a double take, it was him, he noticed the double take, and we had a small chat, polite well mannered nice bloke.

Another time at the NEC

Saw Casey Stoner, recognised him, he was MotoGP champ the 1st time on Ducati at time, and just walked past him.

Pretty much no one wanted to talk to him at the NEC.

I do it sometimes late at night when seemingly on my lonesome.

Talking to yourself is good.

Especially when there really is no one to talk to.

I talk to sheep when no one else is about. I was talking to a very attractive badger face Ewe last night. Only talking mind you. They're very intelligent for a sheep.

We used to do rofl triangles.

However, try that now and you end up sitting on JAYB's haughty step.

Quite the opposite,I'm chilling, doing nothing on my last day of holiday.

It's now raining so not even bothered to go out the back and empty the junk from the daytripper Fiat.

I do need to go food shopping as currently no bread, tomatoes, potato.

Is Mrs B going to Fortnums ?

More trip trivia,it comes back to me slowly.

Got stopped by Danish police,in Denmark, just checking my paperwork was all correct, they were efficient and pleasant

enough making sure the weird bloke in a weird car whilst on their manor.

Then a few hours later I stopped just after going over Oresund bridge and there was a nice looking late teens 20s

girl hitch hiking to Jonkoping,a city I was going to pass ,also quite a way away at 150-200 miles.

I literally had no room in the car as the passenger side was filled with stuff or else I was willing to give her a lift

if she was willing to get into a car with a strange old British bloke.

One has to be slightly mental to drive near 5000 miles in 15 days and 1200+ in 1 day,in a Convertible Fiat.
