Weird thing last night as I was driving to the hotel, I pulled over to allow an ambulance with everything blazing to go past and sat and watched as the car three in front stopped adjacent to the world’s longest traffic island making it all but impossible for the ambulance to get by. There they were, three cars and an ambulance stopped one behind the other between two kerbs. The solution was provided by the second and third cars mounting the nearside kerb to allow the ambulance to swing up on to the offside kerb to drive round Mr stforbrains at the front. What it must have felt like inside is anyone’s guess. Uncomfortable for certain.

That was plain ordinary stupidity but it reminded me of driving home from Kingston one evening when I saw some what-to-do-in-the-vicinity-of-emergency-vehicles driving I have never witnessed before or since. A newish 3 series BMW with the smuggest bloke you have ever seen driving was surfing the ambulance wave. As traffic parted for the blue lights, he maintained his position in front of the ambulance and drove through the gap that was being created. However, not wishing to incur any penalties, he was driving at or below 30. The ambulance crew were doing their collective nut.

Marks out of ten for ish behaviour? Ten, I’d say.

Trivial - the video for this was filmed at the St. Pancras Renaissance London Hotel when it was derlict. It was also in Batman (where he jumps down the staircase) and Batman Begins (it was Arkham Asylmn)

Afternoon. All.

A question for the lover of baked sugary goods. Is there anything more delicious than a gently steamed stroopwafel. Biscuity goodness never tasted so good.

I don't know if that wrap is permanent or just put on for their " tour".

There was about a dozen cars all parked together with Deutsche plates.

Trivial too - Arkham being a nod to the work of HP Lovecraft.

Brilliant.

Where else; Daytona, Kennedy Space Centre, Boggy Creek airboat ride (not as far from Tampa as The Everglades).

And Clearwater beach isn't far from, Tampa either. My most favourite beach in Florida. thumbup
If you want any suggestions on where to go, don't hesitate to ask. I used to lived in Florida, not too far from Tampa either. thumbup

As Alanis once said, isn't it ironic.

The pic of just the 30" wheel is too big to post, needs resizing.

Anyone got a 10" Mini rim to post in its place ?...blah

We've done the space centre the last 2 years. Would love to see a launch.

There's a football game in Tampa 2 days after Christmas, when we'll still be there, that I might try go to.

Lots of shopping, literally what I'm wearing on the plane and 2 empty suitcases.

Should be good, never been at Christmas before. Will be good to see her parent's holiday home, they've had it for 7 years or so and we still haven't seen it.
You NEED Reebok Pump, Doogz. Your life is incomplete without them.

No. Just having an incredibly frustrating and complicated time at a bus station in Fife.

Their water supply seems to run from voodoo.

Trying to work out what these installation instructions are actually meat to mean "First installed in a water hose nozzle, the pump nozzle stuffed in of the inlet connector and then be placed isolated from the water, connect to the upper part of the filthy tower just across from the collection of planters, are reviewer 30 minutes later to be stable and appropriate." Eh???
