Bugger. May well have been pinged on the A3 today. Was heading for my slip road as I crested a small elevation while rounding a gentle right hander. The van was about 100 yards the other side of the slip "on" ramp. 85-90ish if they nabbed me. 
I may have been pinged on the way to work this morning too Bloody scamera van parked on the verge just before the roundabout in a 30 limit, I was probably doing 40 when I spied him, annoying thing is I was heading away from the school, there are no buildings where I was at all and it is a wide road with a gentle curve (that he was hiding round). The really really annoying thing is I was only 1 minute from my destination.

Got home this morning at stupid o'clock from a really lovely seven nights in Tenerife The bonnet of Mrs Champers' car was covered in a brown lava-like encrustatian of either some kind of wind borne dust sediment or the excretions of an albatross with dysentery Having deposited a kettle of warm water on it with no perceivable improvement, I employed the services of the friendly Europeans of eastern origin (whislt repleniishing the family food stocks) and Hey Presto for six quid, a gleaming battle wagon once more
Now ten days at work and off for another holiday
