I went to a pub in Norf Lahndan with a mate who had to talk business with someone and he introduced me to a landscape gardener and I spent the evening talking to him. On the way back my mate asked how we'd got on. Fine, I said. He said, "He's a bank robber." He went on to say that the whole story was the chap I'd been speaking to and a friend of his wanted to set up as landscape gardeners and didn't have any money so they robbed a bank. They had a short wave radio and were listening in to the law tearing around looking for the getaway car, sending cars round the North Circular and up the M1 in hat pursoot as they sat on the top deck of a bus stranded in traffic two hundred yards from the bank.
