55378008, 5138008, 710 0553 etc

(5 looks so much more like an S on an upside down Casio than it does on a laptop.

No no no,stop messing about, you're supposed to be working out your "Pie years" age.

It's stumping all of them.

For pity's sake, man.

It's either 3.142 pies

or

3 pies and beans, where the beans - by long standing convention - are agreed to be equal to 0.142 pie.

I am 20.888 pie years.

(Using Greggsorian Calendar of 1 pie year = 3 regular years measured at Greenwich*)

Earlier I parked next to a newish AMG S65 V12 biturbo. I've just looked it up. On the road price, £183,000. The owner looked like a guy about to have his car repossessed. He was standing next to the car giving his mobile a hard time and he wasn't a happy bunny.

All forty Permanent Members are in the bar, so at 3 pies per Member plus a notional 1 (post pies) cake per Member that's 120 pies and forty cakes. Any abstentions to be consumed by Battert, Mrs B and any visiting Associate Members still conscious.

Take the Lagonda.

It's too dark to take the Amilcar - we really should discuss having lights fitted to it, now that "Stickler" Perkins has passed - so take the half track. It does mean you can cut three quarters a mile off the journey by cutting across the runway and coming out by the post box.
