I don't know what this flying thing was but it made a heck of a bang when it headbutted the screen. I think it's dead now.

Dreadful news on the telly, I was very shocked.

Miss Piggy and Kermit are having a conscious uncoupling. These things happen I know, but 35 years together is a long time.

No, that isn't all. Not by any means. You have overlooked making clear to readers that your post marks almost the 40% full point of this Volume's content. It's just shoddy work, pad. I'm disappointed.

Drat. Killed the thread. Just killed the "Call me Tim" thread as well. And I think it's a good story:

In the 80s I was working for one of the first companies to adopt the ISO9000 Quality Control System. So chuffed were they about being ahead of the game they decided to hold a presentation at the Institute of Directors and invite the industry and press - and pretty much anyone they could think of - to come and marvel at it. They even had their IT department rustle up a letter of invitation and address sticker routine to speed things along. The problem was, the software they cooked up so quickly was dependant upon addresses having a certain number of lines; I think it was five. If they didn't, the system would chunter on printing invitations and address labels getting more and more out of control. The invitations were then dutifully, but unthinkingly, popped into envelopes and address stickers attached by employees press ganged into helping. The one I remember most vividly was to a high-up at the BBC inviting him to come to the IoD to be struck dumb by our all-new approach to Quality Control. It began, Dear Mr W1A 1AA
A bit off topic, I grant you, but y'know, may I alert you to the beggars/choosers conundrum?

Okay then .
Today is recycle bin day not rubbish bin day...that's next week.
My dog is coming into season.....must keep an eye on her.
I need to sort the spare paving slabs out as they are in the way.
All the woodwork in the garden has been painted.
The patio has been jet washed nice and clean.

There that will do for now, carry on.

I need to jet wash our paving slabs, and trim the bushes. I should probably do it at the weekend, but I'm going camping instead.

Me working in the garden yesterday upset my phone. It went off on one and rang A&B Tyres all by itself. It was okay, though, A&B closed down several years ago and I just haven't taken their number off my contacts list.

Got an amazon order that says "out for delivery" today, but was given an estimate of arriving friday. Not sure whether to put some clothes on so I am respectable if they arrive today. Every thud of a car door being shut has me thinking could that be them, this is one thing i hate about ordering online.

I get all my on-line stuff delivered to work. They know where it is, there's always someone to sign for it and no mucking around with pick-ups from the Post Office.

I have to go up a ladder to clean the gutters. I don't like ladders.

So, I tried a bit of MTFU therapy to motivate myself into doing it.

This is also on my list of jobs. I think I'll wait until the weather turns before declaring it would be unsafe to do it before Spring.
