Just been to the car wash, wound my window down to say something to the guy and he hit me in the face with the jet wash, he was very apologetic, I had my 8 year old daughter with me and we laughed like drains, the car wash guy couldn't seem to accept I wasn't going to go nuts.

Annoyingly, I am now tired.

Spent the last week training on a reach truck and got my certification and authorisation for the site... but I'm absolutely cacking it for first shift on Monday.

Come up with a really good reason to be doing your first stint in a quiet corner so you can practice without an audience.

Morning. Time to head East.
Try to remember that your expenses are capped at $33.31.

Sorry about the amount, it was fixed by the Americans in 1969.

Ah I'd like that but unfortunately once you scan a pallet you've gotta go wherever the computer says to. It's less the audience thing really, it's more that it's just a daunting amount of stuff to remember. After a few hours I'll probably chill out a bit...

What a nice day................to spend 1/2 hour stationary on the south section of M25 whilst they

tidy up a lost hubcap or summat.

Actually a tanker was at the Clackett lane entrance slip, alledgedly on fire but I didn't see any conflagrations.

Is this the real, true meaning of the name Cutler?

Heads up for World Rallycross highlights on "Quest" 7pm Monday night.

Better action than the BTCC but don't mention this in their thread as the fanboys won't have anything

bad said against the saintly BTCC,or you'll be branded an idiot, like moi.

It's what I saw in Holjes ,Sweden but unfortunately the highlights are shown too early for peeps to get home,by road,

from the venue.

Despite this, I will continue to tell people we came over with the Conqueror.

William the Spoon?

The Spoonbills are a very fine lineage to come from.

My own lot were a tad more wooden in their utensils from Guernésiais French heritage.

Watch that bow and arrow, will you? You'll have someone's eye out.

My mum - who is presently 86 - treated herself to an iPad and then, some considerable time later, began to get to grips with it. Some things, however, still elude her.

Ring ring

"Hello?"
"It's mum, dear. I've been looking on the internet."
"Oh, yes?"
"Everything is on there."
"There's certainly lots of stuff on there, yes."
"What is your internet name?"
"I'm sorry, what?"
"Your internet name. I've searched for you by your real name and nothing happens."
"Do you mean my email address?"
"No! I have that. Don't you all have names on the internet?"
"If we're members of websites we have names but they're usually specific to that website."
"But I want to read all about you."
"Where?"
"I don't know. On the internet."
"Well, yes, that's nice, but, for you to read it, someone would have had to write it."
"And haven't they?"
"I doubt it."
"Well I read all about your father."
"He wrote a successful text book. You're probably reading his background in book reviews."
"Perhaps. Yes, I see. Would that explain why I couldn't find your brother either?"
"Sadly."
"He said much the same as you when I asked him just now. Oh, well."
