Awake now and functioning at around 60% mental and physical capacity.


I signed on yesterday at the JobCentre. It is no longer a pencil on a piece of string; it is now electronic. The lady I was dealing with told my signature was 98% similar to my stored signature and therefore I was who I said I was. I asked what is acceptable. She said 80% or greater similarity would be accepted as being me.

My fear is that one evening in the bar a posse of Senior Members will run a check, find me at or below 80%, deposit me unceremoniously outside the staff entrance and walk back inside smacking their hands at a job well done.
