I finished The Martian last night, GOG and PP were right, 'tis an excellent read, so thanks chaps I am now lookoing forward to the film, the trailer is very promising

Huh, my Granddad raced at the same event as Sir Malcolm Campbell, 3rd September '38, Brooklands. Bugger if I can find more information about that day though. Got a bit of paper framed at my Dad's with lap speeds (all in the ~98mph range - Norton 490cc) and it's bugging me that I can't find more out about it!
