Oh, yes. Helpless with merriment.

For myself, I am accustomed. But for my friends, I cannot speak.

I went to M&S today and bought a tweed greatcoat and some leather gloves.

I'm 23.

My parents are worried about me.

Are you surprised? They suggested you go to Gieves and Hawkes.

I'm just going to make myself a marmalade sandwich and two cheese and pickle sandwiches for later.

You've had that every work day since you've been doing this job.

True. But the benefit of the system is that we all know where we stand.

Tip: M&S gloves are OK (mine are in their 3rd year), but generally their clothes don't last long. The likes of TM Lewin and Charles Tyrwhitt are longer-lasting and probably not far off the same price given their near-constant sales.

So cold here yesterday I went out and bought a new coat at lunchtime.

Today it is so mild I'm sweltering in the new coat frown

It's a nice harris tweed job so I'll see - if it lasts the 8 years of my old cheap Next black wool greatcoat then I'll be pleased

I realised this morning that not only is my bedside clock an hour out, it's also a month fast. Either that or I was asleep a lot longer than I thought.
