Meh.

I am going to do it to you all now.
Look at that picture.
Now try to unsee it giving birth to a 911.

I think they're fantastic looking cars, it's on my list.

I think the 911 thing is very shade dependent, I find it to be worst when the area around the numberplate is blue. In the picture above it doesn't bother me much at all.

I've just read on another site I frequent that an RS500 Sierra has been burnt out in a bodyshop fire.

Ouch !

Category A write off = no salvageable parts and crushed.

I had a love/hate relationship with one of those.

My wallet was pleased when it went.

One evening, in the late 80s, I turned off the Bagshot Road on to the Nile Mile Ride with a Sierra Cosworth behind me. There's a bit of straight, an island for the swimming pool and another bit of straight before a sharp right hander. He couldn't wait and floored it. Red line in second, third and, for all know, fourth and fifth. He really went for it.

That showed me.

I was in a bog standard, twenty five year old Austin 1100.

Put in my place good and proper.

I miss that turbo acceleration......cry

I could overtake anything normal quicker than it took to think about it.

Did you have the problem of coming the closest you had ever come to running into the back of someone under surprise amounts of acceleration rather than under boring old braking?

No,I don't think that ever happened but being as it was the "big turbo"

version it also had acres of lag.
I took a pic once of the boost gauge with the needle way past the red.yikes

No one's going to pay that unless it's done 2000 miles or is an ex BTCC winner or summat.
Which colour ?
Blue or white are much rarer than black.
