If you consider Volume 2 was predicted to be TT's swansong* ("Why won't this die?" to quote JAYB) it was allowed to run to in excess of 360,000,000 posts. If we lose a few every volume we will eventually get the post average to 10,000 per volume.

*I inadvertently wrote snawsong. We have a vacancy for Under Gardner, should we take him on? Sidney Snawsong, Under Gardner has a ring to it.
