The Uuni2 is cheaper but doesn't look as sturdy. I'm tempted as I love both Neapolitan pizzas and outdoor cooking but I rarely use my charcoal Weber bbq as it is. Hmmm

Thanks - that looks good, but doesn't seem as insulated as the Roccbox, plus it doesn't have the adaptability of gas or wood burners included, so I am thinking the Roccbox is still the way forward..

Yes, I really would stop, point and laugh. There is simply no excuse for those trainers, other than to pretend its 1985 and you are Marty McFly.

A colleague in work is also into the whole trainer scene and spends mental amounts on them. He does wear some of them as well and looks like a complete plank but that's his call.

People seem to get very excited about them though. This is a great (and in a way sad) article about Ian Brown from the Stone Roses tracking down some really rare vintage Adidas gear in a time warp shop in Buenos Aires. Interesting read.

Ok, perhaps not massively frivolous and it could be argued that I do need it.....Anyway, just bought the Secrid card RFID card protector.

I bought it because It has a cool lever operated card release mechanism that fans the cards out for easy pickings.

Who doesn't like levers??

I can't seem to find any concrete information on a release date or delivery times for the Roccbox. I'm tempted by one but don't want to wait several months for delivery

Not had my email yet, though have had plenty of messages saying my colour choice questionnaire is on its way (or not, as the one I had yesterday said).

Given that despite raising nearly $4mill it's still the usual startup catastrophe, I've pretty much written them off arriving before I leave for some hols at the end of May. Any time in summer 2016 would be a bonus

My wife reckons the kids will be able to break them in 5 mins anyway.

Also, it appears to be able to take less maximum weight than the Kaisr at 200kg (Kaisr states 250+), doesn't seem to have loops for pegging down, no pockets and according to the answer at the bottom can't be used in water.

Meh. The loops I can see the advantage of but not really sure about the others. And even the loops, how many times will people actually bother (and how do you peg on sand?)
