Yet another pair of earphones, must be my 10th or so.

Utterly sublime though. Yamaha EPH-100

El Cheapo chines projector

I think I read on here that 3000 lumens is the least that's recommended?

I bought a projector instead of a TV and love it. It get used everyday and its 110 inches still blows me away. It's ceiling mounted with an electric screen that folds away so is much more discreet than a big TV, and is connected to a Bose lifestyle system. If anyone is in the market for a big TV, honestly get a projector instead.

Some noise cancelling earphones I ordered have just arrived today. First time I've tried a Huawei product and I was expecting more of a budget product but I'm impressed. Unfortunately they've gone up since I bought them but still considering another pair for the better half.

Noise cancelling doesn't block all noise but does a good job of the constant drone of road noise and washing machine so far I would imagine it will be good on flights and the train too.

I have two pairs of in ear headphones in my work bag, one pair of sennheiser cheapies but the rubber ear inserts irritate my ears , one set of some other brand (that I can't remember the name of) which are excellent and the foam inserts are mega comfy.
Both sets are perfectly good but don't quite isolate the sound as well as I'd like so I bought some Bose QC25 limited edition noise cancelling

Might seem a little frivolous as these will be used exclusively at work but they completely drown out all the background noise in the office and my productivity has gone up as I'm able to concentrate better

Yet more smellies from scent samples. I already have a bagful of sample bottles but some have run out so stocking up again. I made the expensive mistake of finding basenotes.net which is PH for the olfactory senses. Same discussions, same tantrums and bullst, different topic.

Refills - All great but too expensive to buy in large bottles
Tom Ford - Neroli Portofino
Creed - Green Irish Tweed
Tauer - L'air du Desert Marocain

New for me
Dior - Sauvage
Guerlain - Vetiver

New for her
Guerlain - Mitsuoko
Guerlain - Shalamar
Damn you.
Double damn you.

Just ordered a few.

You do realise you can just go to the lady in debenhams or most other dept stores and ask for the samples? They usually have cupboards full of them and will hand them out gladly.

I also bought a pair for the office (power generation plant is next to the office). The only problem is that as I can now hear nothing I have no clue when somebody wants to ask me a question....

The benefits of instant messaging in the office are welcome for this particular issue!

It all depends on what you want. If you want random designer fragrances then yes they often hand them out.

However, if you want some of the more expensive ranges like Creed, Amouage or Tom Ford Private Blend or niche ones like Tauer then they're highly unlikely to give you anything unless you spend £100 or more on a bottle.

I have one guy who doesn't address you when talking but will just start broadcasting instead. Despite seeing a massive set of headphones on my bonce he will just talk at me. Whilst that's blissful, it's also slightly annoying. IM is useful but he sits right behind me!

Are these are useless as the price suggests?

Going to have to indulge and find out me thinks, I mean who doesn't need a watch that looks something like the dash of a car?

The black ones even cheaper! I've got a $10 voucher for gear best but the wife will kill me if I buy another watch. I bought a go pro copy from them a few weeks ago, I'm quite pleased with it!

Yes, I bought one a while ago. Standard chinese crap.

I know I was expecting more, i.e the hands to move at least, but all that changes is what LED is lit at the time.

Quite impressed, need a proper screen though and a ceiling mount thing.
