For some reason I decided I wanted another pair of French wellies!

You just can't beat Le Chameau wellies. Mine are getting on 3 years old now and I use them every day in the winter. Superb.

They're not all like that, I presume they're for proper farmers who are up to their ankles in cow st all day.

Forgot to post up about that. Mine turned up a couple of weeks ago.

Great, I love it the kids love it and the Mrs loves it.
Everyone who see's it thinks it's pretty amazing.
Bit smaller than I expected but that probably my fault for not reading the details properly.

I think a microscope of some kind might be in order.

Not sure if qualifies, as bought on a flash sale, but I've got 3 chromecast audios arriving today.

I "needed" to sort out a music streaming solution after having a play with a friends new Heos setup at the weekend. Realising I couldn't afford the smallest speaker, never mind the next ones up, I started to look at budget options.

May sneak in to the thread, as after a little research, I'm not even sure they will work nicely with my apple gear.

If any Apple owning peeps have them and use them successfully, I'd be interested to hear how you get on.

Last year at the Silverstone F1 GP I bought a rear wheel from a 2010/11 Merc with all the intentions of cleaning it up and getting a piece of glass cut for the top of it. It's still in the garage in the bag that I collected it in rolleyes

Reminds me of one of my frivolous purchases:

(Which has come in really useful for reading the numbers on drill bits)

That reminds me - I bought a jeweller's loup from Amazon a while back. I've used it once.

Buy a set of drill bits to get more use out of the loupe. Hardly frivolous.

Well, I've ordered 2 loups and a mini microscope that I didn't need.
A whole £5 inc delivery.
