Just picked up a Naim Mu-so Qb. I really wanted the full-fat version (which I may buy at a later stage), but have nowhere for it to naturally sit in the house. This should make for a good bedroom system!

How much and how big is It? Thanks

I obviously haven't been frivolous enough lately, until yesterday when I spent a couple of grand on parts to fit to my engine to make more power. It already has over 600bhp as it is!
Sounds like you must be a happy midget right now!

I do need some frivolous spending as well, but im trying to be sensible about it... (as one must when finances are limited)

It was £595, and it's 20cm(W)x21cm(H). Ideal for those without the space!

600 quid for an audio streaming device? holy balls...

You could buy a chromecast audio, a decent amp and a good set of bookset speakers for that kind of money, not exactly high end hifi budget, but damn...

That was my original idea... But I prefer a bit less mess. I even bought the ChromeCast Audio with exactly that intention, and haven't used it...

If it's rubbish, I'll sell it on... but the reviews seem pretty good.

havent read up on your 600 quid cube, but a decent amp/speakers setup would be more versatile right? Im currently looking into that, not just for music streaming but also to have decent sound for the telly/games

I guess these count, no idea where to put them.

(Excuse the paperweights, all I had to hand)

Very similar to Steve Thomas' art although I don't think they are his unless they are ones I haven't seen before.

I don't know who the artist is - they are the posters commissioned by Elon Musk and Space X

New toy to install this weekend bounce

Did not know about this and a quick internet search shows it might be what I need actually.

Can I please ask where you got it from and how much that was?

Thank you
You can buy these from Bimmertech with PnP harnesses.

It depends entirely on your set-up on the complexity of the set-up (base stereo being the hardest as there is not existing cabling to tap into, but it's requires no cutting of cables and if you are comfortable with removing trim and replacing it, the task is very straightforward to do.

My Occulus Gear VR arrived.

Its very, very weird! Will take some getting used to.... but its a cheap entry in to VR.

Be interested to hear your thoughts on this, I fancy a dabble myself.
It makes me wonder why the occulus rift is so massive! This looks more like it.

How much if you don't mind me asking? I've considered getting one of these for my bebop drone.
€100 here in NL.

About £80 in the UK I believe....

Its a cool gadget, thats for sure. €100 is the perfect price point. It can get very, very immersive after 5-10 mins... ie. trying to grab stuff off the 'coffee table' in Netflix mode hehe ....... yes, I did do that.
I think you've sold it to me. I'm going to be lazy and ask if it has an HDMI input?

Just bought/funded two KAISR Originals via Indiegogo:

Details HERE. Looks like it should be good for holidays, packs up small but tough and waterproof.
Brilliant. I've also ordered 2!
Has everyone who funded/bought these had their survey for colour choice?

I had mine last night, went for grey and orange. Should be great for the summer!
Well, my first foray into purchasing frivolous stuff a crowd funding has hit another hiccup. At least you guys are receiving your useless tat, I only have the dream of owning it after shelling out $150 (what makes it worse is their "relaxed" copywriting style which really sets my teeth on edge)

Kaisr say in their latest update,
"One of our many competitors is not so chill about our KAISR and its popularity. They even took us to court in Europe. Pretty uncool of course, but we firmly believe we will win when all is said and done. In the meantime, there has been a preliminary ruling by a Dutch court. The ruling reassures us that the air scoop technology of the Kaisr lightweight lounge bag is perfectly legal. Our competitor can never stop us from bringing this unsurpassed technology to you, no matter how hard they would want to try.

However, what we still disagree about with our competitor is whether the shape of our air lounge differs enough from theirs.

For our backers in Europe this means that there may be some delay since we will adapt the shape of the product. (prototypes are awesome) The current product can no longer be ordered from or shipped to the EU. Don’t worry, the delay will be kept to an absolute minimum. We will update you next week."

Yeah right...with the product back on the drawing board, there's clearly no chance of getting this before our trip to Greece next week, or ever I'd imagine.

No HDMI input, it only works with the apps on the phone. It is good though, the cinema thing is almost worth it alone. Was watching walking dead in my lunch break sat at my desk with this on, nearly headbutted my desk when I went to scratch my leg!

Keep meaning to try minecraft VR next, just need to check if my controller works with it ok

Been in need of a new watch for a while. This seems relatively cheap and cheerful and I do love a kickstarter project.

Technically, I do need to do a Kickstarter trial as a customer, ready for using is as a company / seeking funding.

Thanks for making it a £57 trial.
Well, it reached the target! Now only about 4 months to wait for the watch!

Wish I'd gone for an extra strap now, but have gone for tan strap, black face and stainless steel outer. What did you both go for?

Hmmm just been doing a bit of research, welcome to the wonderful world of crowdfunding:

"13 May 2016, Hague:

Massive Air to pay the costs, up to date on the part of [plaintiff] estimated at € 33,225.28"

Been wanting one of these for over 1 week now after flying my £30 Syma. Roll on the weekend.

It will do until I can afford the £1400 Yuneec Typhoon H.

Depends how clumsy you are.

I got one of these last weekend, its only £30, fairly easy to fly but moves around a lot. It got a lot of abuse for a couple of days (4yr old wanted a go) but nothing broke, even with 15m drops from the sky:
https://www.amazon.co.uk/QUADCOPTER-MEGAPIXEL-CAME...

The Phantom is much more stable thanks to GPS so it just sits there. Theoretically, it should be easier to fly. It is however, 25 times more expensive.
