PS4 mate, bloody brilliant (I may be biased)
I honestly dont know which way i'd swing on the console front, ive had an x1 before, and Forza is pretty much THE driving game for me, but the PS4 is slightly more powerful... Id be buying either first and foremost to play the new doom, and i think id prefer the X1 controler for that...Im currently thoroughly researching the Hi-fi option, and ill be holding off until at least after E3 (ive got le-mans coming up anyway), to see what happens with the rumoured new "upgraded" consoles.

good condition GX-56's are around £100 to £150 on eBay

£200 to £300 on eBay.
You do realise that DW-8200 Frogman isn't that rare depending on the variation and £2/300 is average money for one. Some models of the Frogman watch sell (and I mean actually sell) for £2000the DW-8200, brace your self

Be careful with G-Shocks, they get addictive.. I have.. erm... several, including a mint in box GA-110EH-8AJR "Eric Haze" collaboration. There is currently one of those on ebay listed at £530 (I paid £145 for mine when new as I managed to bag one on release)
(I also own two Frogman G-Shocks, A 'Dawn Black' anniversary and a 'Men in Black' DW-8200 )

Mrs J had a Dyson Supersonic arrive today.
The hairdryer? Appreciate her opinion of it - Mrs S's birthday is soon...
It gives great hair, but does cost an arm and a leg...

She loves it. Quiet, quick, aesthetically very compatible with someone who likes Apple products. Magnetic attachments apparently a bit special too.

Noted; should come in handy for Mrs Champers who looks after the Princesses' hair-drying requirements. Not for her own hair mind you; that can only be "done right" by a hairdresser, once a week It gives great hair, but does cost an arm and a leg...

My $24 chinese amp came in yesterday
Based on dicking about with it at late o'clock with some spare car speaker and junk, im quite impressed, wonder what itll do with a proper power supply and decent speakers.
To save me searching through the thread, can you post a link? Thinking about a solution for my dying amp in the study.Based on dicking about with it at late o'clock with some spare car speaker and junk, im quite impressed, wonder what itll do with a proper power supply and decent speakers.

http://www.aliexpress.com/snapshot/7737633482.htmlTook 7-8 days to arrive, and cheap as chips, doesnt come with a PSU though
If you want even cheaper, the tripath TA2020+/TA2024+ based amps are supposed to be rather decent as well, and go below $10 on aliexpress. This TPA3316 is based on a new TI chip which supposedly is quite a step up in digital amplifiers.
Havent tried it through proper speakers yet, but what little reviews/info i could find in the various audio communities was very positive.

Haha, doubt it, ive seen threads of people hooking these little china amps up to thousands worth of speakers for a proper listening testAnd yeah, ill definitely look into making custom "Sperker Audio" badges for my DIY speakers
Been thinking about an exotic addition to the house for years. Popped out to the garden centre and went for a browse in the pet shop. They mentioned they had the Viv arriving next day. Browsing on Google the Viv was very well priced so next day I was back to pick up th Viv so no going back now. Its now I realise the Viv is the cheap bit. should have a crested gecko or 2 in a few weeks.
