A small parcel turned up at work today, in boring white plastic packaging. Opened this to find a boring white cardboard box, opened that to find something a bit more interesting biggrin My Croft watch via Kickstarter ( LINK)!

I'm really impressed with the presentation.

Initial thoughts are you can tell the price point, but it feels well put together and is exactly what I wanted, something that looks good but I can be a bit more careless with. I love the look of it, as good in the flesh as it is in the pictures.

It's a bit bigger than I had in my head, but still well within what I like. Although with my girly wrists I'm going to need to make a new hole in the strap so it fits me properly hehe

Padlock and picks just turned up here too.

Got the padlock open on the 4th or 5th try...good value at the price it is, the padlock looks cool!
ohhh, I forgot I ordered that, looking forward to it turning up now...
It's costing me loads in practice padlocks. So far all it does is scare me how locks are easy pickings.

I did the same, bought loads of normal padlocks and sat and picked them all. Some of them don't even need a pick, you can pretty much open them with the turning bar!

There's the original volume for your perusal too. Some properly expensive stuff in that one.

Someone Lightning and Jaguar turbine blades, just because

And a fuel flow gauge for my engine project. It certainly doesn't need one on the instrument panel to function, but the sheer novelty value (and scariness) of seeing how much fuel it is using at any moment meant I had to have it.
Now I just need to figure out how to wire up the 8 pin socket on the back..

Just took me about a minute to crack the lock for the first time. Gonna start practicing a bit more and might even tape the lock up so cannot see the workings before moving on.

I got mine on Sat too, which was a pleasant surprise. I had the same as you, but with SS metal bits. I'm not sure when I'm going to wear it though as I have a Pebble for day to day, and a nice watch the missus bought me when we got engaged.

My Dad might get it for Christmas.

A pleasant dilemma to have!

Out of interest, what number is yours (on the back of the casing)?

Nuts! I've ordered an Echo! I already have a lovely HK speaker and I don't own anything compatible with the Echo, cue future expense! laugh
I see the £99 promotional offer has now expired. I pre-ordered the Echo Dot and a wifi plug for £73.98. I figure I can move the plug around to see what works, then buy more if needed. Im thinking bedside lamp, kettle that sort of thing.

I don't know if every one is keyed the same, but the bitting on mine is quite shallow, meaning I managed to rake it open in about 5 second on the first attempt.

It'll be useful to use for getting to know the feel of pins, feedback and false sets though.

A 17th century 22 pound iron cannonball.

Not sure what I am going to do with it, as I don't have a cannon to fire it from. Any ideas?

Clearly the only logical answer is to buy a cannon.

Mine also arrived, pleased with it, mine is a 'founders edition' I believe from the kickstarter notes they're all numbered 1 of 168.
