Not quite in the Echo or bike league but given that everyone in the family already owns a mobile(s), I'd say this counts as frivolous and not needed. It's just over the size of a credit card. Not sure when I'll use it (if ever) but might be handy to chuck in a bag if we go out for a walk or go somewhere I don't fancy taking a decent phone.
Just need to put a sim in it and load up some numbers so we have them to hand.

How much?
Just Googled the price.

Gulp!

It hasn't even got mudguards.

I was tempted by this last week on gearbest. I really tried to think of an application I could use it for and failed.

Our two are brilliant, connected straight away.
The speed at which it processes information is quite frightening.

You hide that in your sock so that, when you get kidnapped in Istanbul by angry Eastern Europeans avenging the death of their former leader, who you killed, you can slip it out of your sock and call your CIA buddy to get you out of trouble.

Thanks I got it working after mucking around with my Bt router settings.

As you say, the speed of processing responses is amazing.

Also the fact that even playing music loudly she understands what ever you say from a long way away, stunning tech!

New carry-on trolley for my travels:

I already have a lovely rimowa, but then the following Tumi case came up on deal of the day, and I couldn't resist.

I presume you have seen the comments that is does not meet regulations for carry on luggage :

Un-expanded, this bag (which is the CONTINENTAL model) doesn't conform to the proposed new IATA dimension. This bag measures 9.1 x 15.9 x 22.1 inches and 9.8 lbs versus the proposed IATA size for a carry-on: 7.5 X 13.5 X 21.5.

Fortunately British Airways size max of 22in x 18in x 10in are more generous which is whom 99% of my travel is with.

Also new IATA regs are only proposed and nothing has been approved yet... If they do eventually get implemented and BA are not so lenient - Will revert back to my trusty Rimowa.

I already own a Logitech Squeezebox Classic pluged into the HiFi, but saw this and thought it looked like a bargain. Its the same as the Logitech bluetooth adapter at twice the price, and this is only £17.

Plugs into the amp and is now streaming Qobuz from my Surface Pro or my phone. Sound is bloody good too.

I too purchased the lock pick set.

Opened it on the first go after watching a youtube video.

Tried the padlock on the shed, first go.

Any lock smiths hiring =)
I've completely lost the 'knack' and can't get it picked for toffee. Rather annoyingly my 10 year old boy can now do it without looking in a matter of seconds - caught him trying to pick the patio doors on Saturday.... I've sent for the clear cylinder lock and a cheap normal padlock to have a bash at.

https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B01825P12G/ref...

The cylinder lock is strange as the pins seem to be at 45 degrees to the pick at first go. Off to Youtube I go.....
Another picker here. Pretty easy once you know what to do. Could get the lock opened in under 10 seconds after just a few goes. Will have to find something more challenging biggrin
