I bought a Hue myself over the weekend, so far only have ambiance and white bulbs, though have a couple on order. Some great Hue deals on at Argos atm but out of stock everywhere near me.

Am I missing something? Can't see how it's that useful.
Of course, ideal for this thread!

... I have a BTTF one just like the one above on its way! biggrin
Thanks. That's just cost me £56 on a Big Bang Theory set for a friend...

I think for similar money I would have preferred all the minifigs and the apartment set

Not missing anything, I moved lights around to make a "spooky" room for the kids. It worked!

Won't even let me play more than one note at a time! So no chance to entertain everyone with 'Chopsticks' :-/

Best way to get something you don't need and that's entirely frivolous?

I'd say that fits the description of being frivolous.

Because it's guaranteed to end up in the bin after you use it for the first time and realise it's a piece of crap biggrin

"My mate" bought something like this from a shopping channel, it doesn't work very well.

I have a Macbook Pro 13" (heavily upgraded) and iPad Air.

Decided that due to the fact I cant be bothered to switch to Parallels and Windows 7 on MacBook, and carrying it with work laptop on flights, I bought the following:

Surface Pro 4 (i7/256GB/16GB ram)
Dock station
office 365 (5 users)
Type keyboard

In the UK that would set me back £1800 or so.

In Aus due to promotions/GST clawback/the way Im paid, it cost me the equivalent of £1200 or 30% off.

I don't really need it but 30% was too much to ignore.

Went to an antiques market last week. Bought a flying suit.

I will never wear it.

Wish I'd bought the circus juggling knives with sparkly handles.

Can't juggle either

CC get rid of that ridiculous length "now" you've written above. Makes the page almost impossible to read on a phone screen.

In fact don't worry about it, I've reported the post, hopefully the mods will edit it down.

First ever Indiegogo (or Kickstarter) campaigned backed.

Wireless earphones:

https://www.indiegogo.com/projects/air-acousticall...

Frivolous as have Beats wireless over ear headphones, Bose noise cancelling in ear headphones as well as at least 2 pairs of other bluetooth headphones. And I'm no audiophile to appreciate whatever quality they might have... oh and I won't be home to get them January.

Look nice though!
