Went to an antiques market last week. Bought a flying suit.

I will never wear it.

Wish I'd bought the circus juggling knives with sparkly handles.

Can't juggle either
Well, you bought the flying suit last week.

So I would suggest that it wouldn't be beyond the realms of acceptability to go back this week for the knives, no?

Oh, and post pictures eh, there's a good chap biggrin

I've just pre-ordered a Samsung Gear s3 classic.

Don't need it, I doubt it will fit my girly wrist anyway. But it looks lovely, and has some cool geeky features. Anyone want to buy a used Gear Fit 2? smile

Pre-order before the 10th Nov directly from Samsung, and get free bluetooth headphones (£77 on Amazon) -- I actually do need some clip on headphones for the gym anyway, so man maths justified the purchase perfectly.

I like the Frontier version. Probably the first smart watch I can see myself wearing.

It's a large antiques market, it's not there every week or I'd own juggling knives by now

I'm not a chap.

That looks a smart watch that I would buy.... but I assume it won't work with an iPhone?

It's bigger. Which is better, right?

Other than the GPS and better battery, not much else I don't think, but this is the frivolity page, so surely such questions are irrelevant anyway? smile

Which is true but it's only on the surface and the battery life impacts for watch and battery are horrific ... I was running a Moro 360 Gen2 and the watch was dead from 100% in 3hrs with no use and it took my iPhone SE from 100% to 25% in that same time ... its the Bluetooth constant transfer that's the killer, I ended up just refunding after a couple of days of constant battery pain

Whereas my Pebble Time lasts for ages and my iphone still makes it through the whole day when linked to it.

Although if i didn't have the new Pebble Time2 on he way i would be much more interested in that.

ETA The work phone is a bloody windows mobile, and they are in some ways very good, but nothing 3rd party ever seems to work with them. banghead

No issues with my Pebble Time Steel, battery lasts about 6-7 days, Iphone 6 with moderate use is on 30-40% by the end of the day. The Pebble stuff really is excellent imo, I use it to delete or archive incoming emails from my watch, reject calls, check weather and see messages without having to get the phone out. The fact it automatically tracks sleep/movement is a bonus, current 30 days sleep average is about 6 hours, damn kids!

I have the original Pebble, the battery lasts almost a fortnight, and I never switch it off. It runs on a cheap Chinese Android phone, and doesn't really seem to affect the battery life on that either, I still get 2 - 4 days out of that depending on the Pokemon situation locally.

In short, Pebble = Goood.

Have a Garmin Vivoactive- with GPS turned off it lasts over a week, even with all notifications active.

The advantage of e-ink.

Need and want are two very different things, so I've been told. Luckily, man maths merges and simplifies the two concepts. So yes, of course you need one.
