Someone on another thread was looking for an old 70's car racing set.

I explained that I had a Matchbox Scorpions set.

In the course of finding pictures to highlight which set it was I found one on eBay, made an offer and boom, moments later it's mine!

Il be for it now with Mrs P!

This arrived Saturday, I had completely forgotten I had ordered it.

Plugged in and had a good play, it's really good. Brings back many fond memories!

I thought this thread might have been awash with Black Friday purchases but it has been strangely quiet.

Mind you, I haven't found anything I want to purchase so maybe others are the same.

The only thing I've seen of interest (which I already have) is a 750GB SSD at Amazon for £105.99.

Amazon Echo and Echo Dot are in the Black Friday sale. Already have a Dot for my living room but thought I'd get one of each to see how good the sound quality is, for my bedroom, on the big Echo, then send one or the other back depending on how satisfied I am with it. I've also bought a Kindle Fire for £30...

I've picked up a £30 fire as well.
My ipad was on its last legs and its a cheap way to see if I get on with Android.

I was hoping these would be down to £100 today. We already have 3 Amazon Dots in various rooms, but an Echo would be useful in the living room.

Steam link and controller in the steam sale today. Frivolous because I get maybe 1 hour a month to play games at the absolute maximum, and when I do I have no interest in playing them on my telly with a controller.

In my head once the kids are older it will let them play games but the reality is by then the tech will be obsolete and I'll probably never use it other than to turn it on and see if it works.

I kicked myself for not getting one when they were £99. So I thought sod it and ordered one, arrives tomorrow. I will have a Dot in the lounge and the Echo in the bedroom.

Oh and picked up another WEMO wifi plug for £29 which arrives today https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B009SA9Z6S/ref...

I bought this one...

https://hobbyking.com/en_us/h-king-marine-hydrotek...

Only ever tested it out in our pool once in the 3 years of ownership. It ran out of space in about a millisecond.

Really should get it out and find a lake somewhere.

PaH ! You amateurs!

Now if you had bought this with the OS 21 XM, now that would have been fantastically frivolous!

Not sure if frivolous or not as bought for a use, but just ordered one of these as my cheapo Bosch drill is finally coming to the end of its life.

The fidget cube - should all 5 of the dots click? Only 3 of mine do and its causing more irritation than its help due to that.

Can you tell me how much that lot weighs and costs? I want to buy another expensive synth. It weighs about 20kg, and your data could be vital in me explaining that I'm not frivolous to Mrs Goat.

About 100ml in total, not sure about weight, and just under £100 with the Egoiste accounting for half of that.

Doesn't sound that frivolous now but considering I already have dozens it might just be.
