To be 100% honest i dont know what i will print with it, i bought it more to get my hands on the tech to play with it.

And the good news is that it works

Yes i know its a boring thing to do as a first print but it shows that it works

Sony Xperia Z3 tablet and the PS4 cotroller adaptor.

Tablet bought literally so I can play on the PS4 when the Mrs watches her crap TV programs.
I hope you have a 5ghz router, they lag otherwise.
Didnt get any lag. granted only used it once.

Well the 3d printer is starting to look a bit more like something more than a pile of parts

Incase anyone is curious it is one of these - http://www.gearbest.com/3d-printers-3d-printer-kit...

I have zero need for one but for that price i could not resit getting one to see what they are like
I know this is the frivolous thread -- but what are you actually going to print?

Surprisingly no. The Z3 only weighs 270g so its not that heavy (about the same as the controller), its obviously heavier than not having it. but you soon forget about it when you are playing. You can do the same with the Xperia phones as well apparently.

Arrived today
No real need for it but no man can resist a gadget especially at this price.
I even used their discount code and got it for less:

Digital LCD Multimeter.
I used to use these when I dabbled in electronics and fixed old home computers many years ago, I sort of think I might use it to try and fix the heated rear window in my old Freelander at some point.
I probably won't though and it'll go in a drawer somewhere for 'when I need it'.
£3.29 with free shipping though, can't really go wrong.

I got one of these from Amazon a while ago, the picture on screen doesn't look as good as that though, does yours?
I did however use it to look in my ears which just has to be done, you know, testing, ahem.

So much cheaper to buy white bulbs!

I'll get around to getting some more eventually, I only have three, so I need to add more bulbs and another echo dot to my list.

The ambiance white are my favourite, a little more expensive than basic white, but they gave a larger range of shades. They can also be used as 'wake up lights'. We do have a colour strip around the TV and a coloured bulb in the dining room but tbh I don't use the colour bulb much other than white.
Next plan is to change the GU10's in the kitchen to Hue's, but I'm waiting for them to go on some kind of offer.
