Just an FYI to those interested in Hans Fex Mini Museum (I bought the second release), this has just been announced - The campaign for the Third Edition will launch on Kickstarter at 4PM Eastern Time (UTC-5) on Tuesday, February 7th.

I'll probably get this one also....
You legend. Cheers for the heads up.

One of my favourite video makers made a video on this product. Some questionable assembly practices. Other than that looks like a great product.
Could be used with a knife as well for cutting foams etc.

I used to use pen plotters, 20 years ago. We didn't stop using them because we ran out of plotter pens, but becuase laser printers came along. I can quite happily and confidently say I have never thought to myself since that I needed a pen plotter. laugh

This one goes beyond frivolous into pointless waste of money.

Cool.

How much were the earlier editions?

Reminded me of this thing we had at my junior school in the 80s.

Not here, and not with free shipping. Either way, it's a lot of sugar I don't need.

The one I bought was $336, but this wasn't the first pledge and is usually a bit cheaper if you get in there early.

Yes, sorry all. It is indeed a cat wheel thingy and sadly not a stargate hehe

More video..

I have just ordered a laser pen to try and coax them on to it.

If that doesn't work, I am going to buy a mini-moto, lay it down and try a wall of death.

And yes it was ebay for £200. You can make your own, of course, but I couldn't be arsed!

As I said before, I can't help think the price was for the OH's benefit. A tenner is farr too cheap isn't it?

Saw this advertised in my Facebook feed. No idea how much it will cost but I've signed up for the launch notification offering 50% off. I reckon it will still be quite expensive
Thanks, like the look of that particularly if it links to Sonos which it sounds like it should, signed up as well.

Link to where you bought this from? My bother loves all things space related and thus is a perfect present for him. Don't think his wife and daughter will be as impressed though....

I'm a bit put off now as I'm seeing a lot of negative comments on their Facebook ads; the main one being that is has the potential to ruin your records quickly because of how it works.

£250 for a fancy coffee table is pretty reasonable I would say. OK, a bit more than Ikea but you would pay that in some places for something nowhere near as interesting as that.

I need to get around to doing something similar with mine.

I'd like the glass to be secured using a wheel nut though
