Saw a post on Pistonheads for someone looking for an engine, I fancied a 328 Manual Sport. A few texts and emails swapped about and a 380 mile round trip in a sh*t recovery truck with no heaters and broken seats, it's now sat on my driveway looking pretty much the same.
Now, how do you swap an engine (Thread in Readers cars if your interested on how it goes).

Ouch! I only ask becasue I've been away from biking from years now, but I always used Akra stuff on my race bikes - in my opinion, it is about the best money can buy. But wow - that money used to buy us a full titanium system 10 or 15 years ago!
Lovely bit of kit though, I think that you have invested wisely to be honest.

Mini Museum 3 launched, and already smashed it's kickstarter target (struggling to understand why they still use ks now they've built up a following?).
I missed out on both previous versions, was (and am) gutted about that, yet I'm finding it difficult to hit the buy button this time - too many very esoteric or similar specimens, plus two that actually wind me up for being included, Steve Jobs' turtleneck and a bit of Charles and Diana's wedding cake? What the fk?
SR-71 specimen from the transatlantic record plane is awesome, but a bit of food prepped for Mir but never sent into source doesn't fill me with excitement.
Am I alone in thinking this edition is significantly less appealing?

I kind of felt the same with the second one but decided they have taken this approach to broaden it's appeal. I've still backed this third one. They really are fantastic and unique bits of kit.I missed out on both previous versions, was (and am) gutted about that, yet I'm finding it difficult to hit the buy button this time - too many very esoteric or similar specimens, plus two that actually wind me up for being included, Steve Jobs' turtleneck and a bit of Charles and Diana's wedding cake? Link/costs please. Having recently lost (in separate incidents, and for the first time ever) wallet and keys, I could do with something like that!
SpudLink don't look but others after similar might want to look at the NUT and NUT Mini I've been using the NUT mini on my house keys, Car key and wallet for the last year or so and they're great. more often than not to remind me I've left my wallet at home rather than I've lost something but glad I have them. You may want to customise the settings so that your workmates don't get hacked off every time you leave your phone on your desk and wander off with your keys.

I have always wanted these when I have seen them. Can't justify spending a couple hundred quid on each though!I missed out on both previous versions, was (and am) gutted about that, yet I'm finding it difficult to hit the buy button this time - too many very esoteric or similar specimens, plus two that actually wind me up for being included, Steve Jobs' turtleneck and a bit of Charles and Diana's wedding cake?
