Saw them but bought the fidget cube instead
Don't buy the gearbest one - it's completely useless and built so badly that the spinny bit doesn't spin and the button clickers don't click.

Mine's pretty much spot on, the only bit that doesn't match the real one is the ball - it's supposed to click when you push it but doesn't. 3 of the buttons click, 2 are silent which is, i think, as they should be.

I'm not sure what it says about my browser history, but I keep getting targeted by adverts for these beauties...

Utterly pointless. Over priced. I'm very tempted.

I keep buying cheap fountain pens, mainly due to the Fountain Pen thread.

Huh? Pretentious? Because people are getting enjoyment out of buying £3 Chinese fountain pens and being pleasantly surprised about how good they are? Because people are rediscovering writing? You want to go look at the watch threads where people spend £1000's on a watch whose purpose is to show how rich they are. That's pretentious.

I bought two to make it easier for an overweight friend to put on his seatbelt.
They meant that instead of being buried and hard to get at, the seat belt sockets within easy reach.
I'd be doubtful about their safety in a crash - knowing Gearbest, they are probably just pot metal and would break on impact.

The above mentioned led lights look amazing. took 2 weeks or so to arrive but well worth the wait

£1.64 with free delivery biggrin

I've just bought one of these, because USB LED's are awesome, obviously. Does everyone use Paypal or do you all have scam proof pre-paid credit cards etc?
Also bought these. I don't know why.

For £2 it's not even really frivolous is it?

They have some strange things on that site, look at this:

Plugs to stop the no seatbelt alarm, with plenty of positive reviews
What a stupid invention. It takes about 2 seconds to put a seat belt on.
I might buy some to save the passenger seat alarm constantly going off whenever I pick up a takeaway/fill up on a tip run etc.
Bloody hell, how heavy are your takeaways, most cars are set to trigger the alarm at 20lbs.

Are the new darts designed to spin to make them more accurate?

It seems to be manual loaded too, which must be a bit of a pain...?

So, Opulent Bob, you were going to tell us all how pretentious the Fountain Pen thread is, on the Frivolous Purchases thread, and you seem to have got lost somewhere.

Hello?

OK OK I take back the pretentious fountain pen comment! (Although they are a bit, in this era of Bic)

I think that way because I work with spray paint and grown-up's crayon...

the closest I get to an ink pen is when I have to sign a contract, and I've got a 15 year old (at least, probably more like 20) Parker Jotter for that stuck in to the side of my survey bag.

I guess I see "frivolous" as being equal to "fun", and I don't find pens fun. LED's, toy cannons, things that light up, make noise, or stink are what floats my boat.
