Now, if you could just tell me how to switch the bloody thing off please?
I know you are supposed to press the on/off button, but it never really seems to switch off and has a spazzy turn of static noise and vibrations every ten minutes or so. Weird.
Weird indeed. Just switch mine off and switch off BT on my device, job jobbed.I know you are supposed to press the on/off button, but it never really seems to switch off and has a spazzy turn of static noise and vibrations every ten minutes or so. Weird.

You know, since the mobile phone has got more prevalent, I think one of these as a backup would be a cracking idea. If the battery is flat, or you lose your phone, it. Would be a very handy thing to have a couple of dozen of the more important numbers saved. It might be a bit of a Ballache to get them all put in to start with, but it could be a worthwhile exercise if you're the type (like me) who breaks phones with alarming regularity. CypherP said:

Jesus, I remember having one of these at school when they were very new. Takes me back. Solid watch as well, took a hammering and never failed.JonRB said:

Fixed blade so I can't carry it. I have other EDC knives anyway but still, look at it!
What is it used for?I mean, cutting things obviously (duh), but what specifically is it designed for?
Reviews seem to be of the 'Oh, that's cool. And now cheap. I simply must have it' variety.
Frivolous indeed
I bought a Fitbit Charge HR after the reviews on this thread.
It is without doubt a frivolous gadget.
It's great seeing how many steps i've taken, calories burnt, even my heart beat.
(Anyone know how fast your heart actually can beat?)
Other than recording all of this dead useful info, it doesn't do much else.
Sadly it does prevent me wearing any of my watch collection - you'd look a pillock with both on.

I've updated from my old Fitbit Flex as the battery life was getting poorer, the HR is good.It is without doubt a frivolous gadget.

I wear mine on the opposite wrist to my watch, doesn't look silly IMO, all you have to do is set the preferences to the fitbit being used on your dominant arm.
