HP Microserver (plus SSD & HDD), Pebble Steel, Ubiquiti Unifi APs...

Yup, it's bonus day!
you do know your pebble is already obsolete after being bought and closed down??
As a Pebble user, it's still working, but will be unsupported after 2017.

Which I why I'm involved with the Kickstarter I posted above. Which looks to be a nice alternative.

At £50 it's a nice smart watch which will continue to work without server side support, so I'm not really concerned.

As I was reading this thread, an ad for 3D race track sculptures has just popped up …

$150 to put an outline of Spa-Francorchamps on your wall? A bargain.

My General obsession with all things Half Life related resulted in this very weighty tome being delivered yesterday.

It makes for fascinating reading, and it's made me start playing half life 2 again!

The wife will probably kick me out very soon!

Love Half Life 2, played through it so many times on so many different devices, such an amazing game. Looks like an interesting book.

Thanks for that link, yes had already seen the PDF version.

I'm a bit old school with books of this type though, I like the real thing with the weight and feel,of a proper hardback book.

Uuni 3 pizza oven which obviously needed an infrared thermometer to go with it to check its temperature.
And a new apple tv (sold old one on ebay which seems a vaguely sensible thing to do).

This happened. Despite me knowing the scale it's a bit larger than I expected.

Reminds me of a Billy Joel lyric from the 1970s. "You can't look trashy 'till you spend a lot of money."

Unless you've already put a deposit down on one, you've probably missed your chance. Unless you're willing to buy one at an inflated price when the lucky owner decides to flip it for a profit.
