Looks like a cracker of a phone.
I've just noticed that The Register recently reviewed it - http://www.theregister.co.uk/2015/08/25/wileyfox_p...
you are BAD people!!! I've just received mine (well, I say mine it was a pressie for SWMBO) so will have to get it sorted out asap, initial impressions though are that it looks good, feels good and seems to be easy to use (just need to get a micro-sim sorted now)

Sounds like a great purchase. If I wasn't happy on a Moto G 2nd Gen, I would go for a Wileyfox Storm in a shot - the specs are ideal for me.

Indeed. Ordered one as a wedding present for my fiancée - she'll love it.

Had a look at the previous version, depending on your outlook in some ways even nicer.

A piece of Apollo 11 Command Module foil?! Shame they're sold out as I'd have bought that too.

Got to love it when people photoshop two images together and negate any semblance of scale.

I was a bit pissed off I missed the first one so was straight in there with this one. Glad it's tickled a few fancies.

How does the posher one compare to say an Iphone 6. Just as good ? Better ? Worse?

Define better / worse / as good. For making phone calls? As good as each other, I would say. For running Android? I'd say the iPhone is pretty poor at that. hehe

I've got quite a few black tie events coming up, just managed to source one of the original casino chips used in the filming of Casino Royale. Entirely frivolous but I am pleased.

Looks like my gut feeling on that laser razor was right, suspended by kickstarter as no working demo but now on Indiegogo

http://www.wired.co.uk/news/archive/2015-10/13/ska...

I think this one will run and run.

Aww. Something to do with not having a working prototype. It's still available here: https://www.indiegogo.com/projects/the-skarp-laser...

Never mind useful stuff like garage car ramps etc

Can you just imagine the conversation with SWMBO when this appears . . . . . . . . . . . .

Not mine, but a local 'garden ornament' has appeared :-)

Maybe that's why his mouth is open - he's screaming with pain ?!

For those of you local to me, he's just off the roundabout by Russells Hall Hospital, heading towards Merry Hill.

I got the email from Kickstarter this morning saying that they won't be taking my money. Thankfully I've managed to get an early bird rate on Indiegogo and saved myself $50

Not strictly a frivolous purchase, as I needed a new wallet, but I had decided I wanted to get a Carbon or Kevlar one if I could. All the ones I'd seen were somewhat tacky and I nearly gave up, but then I came across a tiny firm in the States who hand make them ( Ragged Edge). Lots to choose from, but I went for Kevlar:

Quality is great, price was very reasonable, so I'm well chuffed.

As you'd expect its incredibly light and thin, in fact I keep having to check my pocket to make sure I've not lost it.

I've got the bug now and fancy one of the all black Carbon ones, and they do a customisation option too - I can see me ending up with 2 or 3 of them at this rate smile
