More frivolous purchases, stuff you don't need..
Discussion
There are better ones that do Wifi 6, but this was a) on sale and b) allows a separate 2.4Ghz network which is good for home automation stuff.
And it is fast. Wired speed is pretty much the same as WiFi speed near the router and its two nodes.
Also has a built in free VPN, so when in an Internet hotspot you can route through the Amplifi and have proper security, wherever you are. Very unusual, and great.

Good work, have my eye on one to replace my Saitek Eclipse II when it finally dies. Mouse is fine, Razr Mamba but needs a new battery now and the wife needs a new mouse so I might just copy your setup and gift her the mouse lol
I'd highly recommend the Roccat stuff. My keyboard is last gen so got it fairly cheap (around £60) on amazon after a bit of hunting around. The Mouse is a Roccat Kone Aimo and the keyboard the Horde Aimo. Keyboard is nice as it's membranichal so feels great but is a lot quieter than a mechanical. Palm rest has been a saviour with working from home.
Went wired mouse as I'm crap at keeping stuff like that charged less to go wrong! It's good but quite easy to knock the dpi buttons and send the mouse flying across the screen.

XSi I assume. 1.6 or 1.4? I miss mine enormously. If you fancy selling the spare car sans loom please let me know
Both 1.4s, mate. They're so rare that I'll actually keep a lot more than the loom as some things are no longer on the shelf. I won't leave too much more than a rolling shell behind (close ratio 'boxes are hens teeth, engines getting rare, some of the trim, etc) as some bits are better than on mine, so I'll do some swapping.Have a look at my thread in reader's cars as I do have spare engines and 'boxes and things so may get to a point where I can sell a project.

The arbour and pier are not frivolous.
I've seen pics of your massive water garden / pond / lake, and it is, therefore, entirely required.
See now I 100% agree with this, he doesn't. Though he does want a boat. We don't need a boat, nobody fishes the pond, but he's seen a Bic Sportyak and rather fancies it. Fortunately its currently out of stock I've seen pics of your massive water garden / pond / lake, and it is, therefore, entirely required.

If we're all getting them out (Ooer), I'll post my two. Both airsoft. I thought my glock was a Umarex but its a WE G26, shows how long it's been since I used them Literally just used for plinking these days and that's it. Overkill but they are satisfying things, weights, materials etc are both pretty good.
Where do I buy one of these lovely things, and what fps do they shoot bearings at? Northern Ireland is restricted to 328 fps, which is daft. I have a compound crossbow that can bring down a deer and come out the far side of it leaving a huge hole and owning that and even walking around with it drawn and a broadhead tipped bolt in it as long as it is concealed (in a zipped up case) is entirely legal, but the pistol rules are super strict.

Shame to break one as they're so rare these days... Have a look at my thread in reader's cars as I do have spare engines and 'boxes and things so may get to a point where I can sell a project.

I seem to be going through a frivolous mobile phone phase. I don't need another one, but I still browse Ebay and sometimes "Up"grade the handset. Even looking at the exact same type now, why would I need that? In case the current one breaks I suppose. But I did actually buy a "spare" pocket-sized one to make it easier to carry a phone in my pocket, then I had to get a flip case and TF card for it, and a pay-as-you-go SIm card ..... still haven't made a call on it. And I bought a different coloured snap-on back for it!!! Can't even see the back when it's in its flip case. I just don't know why I want all these things ...
I hope I'm not alone ...??

I have a spare phone too. Usually when I'm done with smartphones they're beyond usefulness. Ie, batter buffered, broken screen etc. That's the only reason I get a new one so I always buy the phone and do sim only.
My spare phone is a Nokia banana phone, one of the new ones. Its basic, but it's small. Fits lovely in the pocket because of the curve and the battery lasts forever.

Know what you mean, K!I miss my S2 Rallye like crazy.
I actually walked away when I went to see the seller (great guy, even delivered it) as he had someone else interested and I said that I would rather see it brought back to it's former glory than to go to me for parts. I guess the next guy was either going to break it or didn't offer as much (I still got a great deal) and the seller knew it was going to an enthusiast.
If I can avoid it's death i.e. pass it onto someone who can use the parts (homologation plate shell) to keep something else alive or rebuild it, I will.
Scrapping is the last option but our drive is slightly full now and the Clio V6 has had to go to my best mates house!
