It will consist of the following, a number of highly attractive just out of school/college girls faffing about, a couple of MILFY mid thirties women ( vaguely competent ), and a matriarchal HR Dept manager ( past her best ), often there's also a random metrosexual man who somehow ended up in HR ( ignore him, except when you want something actually sorted out ).
If you could connect people's brains to a TV and watch, I'd plug you in.

There are records going to be broken today with the heat, do I need to be advised on how to cope with it? No I don't, but sadly a lot of people do.

Not whilst i'm self employed, can't be bothered to go to work and there is beer and icecream in the fridge anyhow. byebye

Hot weather driving tips, that's a good one. Probably the sort of st people should be doing all year anyway, and if they're not interested in doing it all year they won't be doing it in 'extremes' of weather either.

The weather in Britain is piss wet and grey most of the year, we should rejoice when we get some snow or sun to break up the monotony. Instead we st our pants and hide indoors laugh

I wish there were some tips on how to cool my flat.
Last night at 8pm with all doors and windows (and huge patio door to balcony) open the temperature in my son's room was 31%

The baby monitor was glowing red.... well, the temperature was in the red.

We looked at buying a fan but apparently everywhere has sold out!

Good advice biggrin. I used to manage for a company employing predominantly 20yo-30yo male engineers, driving to and from jobs in Escort or similar light vans. The first appearance of decent weather normally resulted in at least one of them smashing into the car in front whilst admiring the scenery hehe around the local town or city centres.

Quite by luck I happen to have a couple of electric fans available at a mere £2.5m each. Easily collected from a home fairly near you. PM me if you're interested.

Some well meaning person is going to come along and point out that the worst way to attempt rehydration is by drinking beer.

If I was worried about dehidration I wouldn't be drinking in the first place.

I have still got my winter tyres on, I am not taking any chances, we could get snow later in the year.

Have they melted? IIRC they don't like going over about 60mph if the temperature is above 25 degrees.

But that happens every year and probably has ever since the tube was built. It's summer it happens every year like the tube strikes that happen when it's nice and sunny and the tube workers want to top up there measly 52 days annual leave they are supposed to manage on with a few days 'strike' leave.

The fact it gets hot on the tube in summer is nothing new, but the story fits with the op's comments about being massively over dramatised.

Hot weather? Dear me, things have been so bad here in the north east that Northumbria Police Just issued the press release below.

For clarity, we had a bit of a thunder storm.

Motorists advised to take care in weather conditions

Police are urging motorists to take extra care on the roads in adverse weather conditions.

Parts of the force area have experienced heavy rain and motorists are advised this may have an affect on the roads in the region.

There may be standing water lying on some roads. Motorist are asked to take extra care and allow extra time for their journey. Leave plenty of space between the car in front and adapt speeds in accordance with the conditions.

In dark and gloomy conditions makes sure you use headlights so other cars can see you.
