A Haulage firm has been fined for having illegals in one of his lorrys

The fine has been imposed by HM Customs/UK Border Force, who primary job is to stop them getting in in the first place.
nice place this country,

Yep, makes my blood boil rage
This is why I believe the Army should be pulled in to help in this crisis

1/ they would actually be helping British citizens (for a change).

2/ All Lorries should be stopped and searched using Dogs and any other means available.

3/ All illegals to be put on a boat back to where they came from.

If it means the tomatoes or products don't make the supermarket shelve the following day, So be it!

Border security have openly admitted they can not check every lorry frown
This is why the Army should help.

I wouldn't take my pushbike to one of these handwash places. Multiple uses of the same leather? If its dropped on the deck its not disposed of, just rinsed and cary on.
No if i want scratches on my car, i will do it myself and not pay someone £5.00

I had heard the fines had been suspended, I thought that was a load of crap, your basic problem is seriously militant immigrants, an absolutely disinterested French police force, a french customs that don't really want to catch them, a U.K lorry driver that's completely on his own and this is what you get.

Apparently according to UN conventions and international law " it is not illegal to arrive in a country and ask for asylum "

I am no bleeding heart leftie but it really does boil my piss when the rankings of Rupert and his shock jock mates are taken as gospel.

The real problem is not the poor bds arriving but why they are leaving their homes in the first place and thus causing the current worldwide debate

Our mob have been found to be intercepting people smuggler boats at sea and paying the crew to turn around and go home.

I'd love to be a lorry driver.

Some support from the French Police but no interest from their politicians, knife wielding stowaways trying anything they can to get into your vehicle, and if they succeed and happen to be discovered you're fined for it.

Brilliant system, couldn't make it up.

I'm currently learning to be a HGV driver and would love to do work going overseas but the ccurrent situation with illegals trying it with lorries means I'll never take it on frown

Surely there is no need for training, isn't HGVing what people automatically do when they have failed at everything else?
What a moronic post. Possibly being a driver for a living may suit some people, the pay can be pretty good, plus I'd quite like to have someone responsible in charge of 40 ton wagons on the road.

I really wouldn't worry about the illegals, I certainly wouldn't let it put you off, I go through Calais weekly and its not really a problem, I do run a fridge though which makes me less of a target.
Be prepared for people to look down on your profession though, that's why I like driving abroad , less morons with nemesis's attitude.

Apparently they've managed to break into the tunnel which caused it to be closed down for some time:

https://uk.news.yahoo.com/migrants-disrupt-channel...

They are acting like animals so need shooting with tranquilliser darts, bundling onto a cargo plane and dropping back off where they came from, I don't know why we aren't doing this.

Agree with the UN. However count how many countires these vermin travel through before getting into our country ILLEGALLY. If they turned up at Dover with all their papersndapplied as they should, it might help

What we want is a Ferking Great sign at the Calias Camp that says in as many languages as it takes

'fk OFF we dont want you', but until thhis smarmy arsed Govt of various hues over the years bites the bullet and puts them on the first boat back, it will carry on.

They seem to be a bit blind to the meaning of the word Illegal, and what happens when we do find them

give them an address to attend the next day WTF?????

Yea like they do

Bugger the delays Stop and search every lorry Get the Gurhkas to do it. Now they ARE the type we need here.

Oh well back to the wine!!!!!

I believe you have to claim asylum in the first safe country you step foot in after leaving the unsafe ones

I am unsure what this says for the safety of the rest of Europe

You've got to look at the bigger picture, if the Army were drafted in to do the job properly I would have nobody to wash my cars, there would be no one in the toilets of my local night club offering me Fragrances and straightening my collar, and we would never know that your standard rented one bed terrace could house 45 people in relative comfort {relative to their journey here}.

Can you imagine a hand car wash owned/run/and manned by English men, you would pay double, the job would be ste, it would be hit and miss whether it was open and you would be there all day.
The cost of hookers and pizza deliveries would spiral. I suppose the army could help Dominos, but
