All's Well That Ends Well
So I finally give in and take a look for the f-ing fabled jewels.
Picture the scene, a big cellar room in the half light, in the corner sits a 40 year old white painted wardrobe with scrolly carvings on top that has seen better days and that hasn’t been used as a wardrobe for 18 years.
Next to it sit the 2 monsters, 4 metre spider web, creepy “flower” lights and dramatic lighting kit which I use to scare the local kids at Halloween. May be I’ll post video later this year.
The wardrobe is full including 5 large old smelly decorator blankets and 3 plastic decorating sheets, trailer parts and other tut. Under the 8 decorator blankets is an old electric cool-box that hasn’t been used for may be 10 years and I open it and lo what do I see before me – the sparklies!
“Oh, NOW I remember putting them there”, said the Princess
If you read my posts you will see that I never impugned the “buyer’s” character – thank goodness.
F-ing women.

Poor buyer must have taken his buy to bits! So I finally give in and take a look for the f-ing fabled jewels.

Seriously though - is your wife ok mentally, it really isnt normal behaviour to go around hiding the "precious things" and then forgetting where they are...
Get her checked out - could be an early sign of dementia?
Have you ever been married to one of them or had a long term relationship? It's perfectly normal behaviour. Get her checked out - could be an early sign of dementia?
Watch out OP though if she does start to have sudden mood swings it's could be an early sign of brain cancer ( or she might just be on rag week )

She's always been like that. She has a tidy up and put away mentality which unfortunately can be very irritating when you are halfway through a job involving lots of things lying around. However it helps when you have three kids to keep the place ok.Get her checked out - could be an early sign of dementia?
In the early days too, long ago, when I smoked, after two or three taps of my ciggie on the ashtray she would whisk it away and empty it. Sometimes holding the ashtray waiting for the tap...
Drove me bloody mad. I gave up smoking. But the house is always pretty clean and tidy. I don't sit too long in a chair though just in case. I might get put in the cellar and forgotten.
