When I go, and I'm not ready yet, these are what I fancy for my funeral. Rainbow chaser by Nirvana and Friends by Arrival. Any comments?

They don't sound very 'you'. I'd suggest 'Why the fk would we know' by 'A bunch of strangers'.

What you want doesn't matter. You'll be dead....

I'm tempted to have some Trance like Lost Witness. I doubt anyone will choose it for me though wink

Mozart's requiem in D minor. Nothing else come close to being 'real' funeral music.

If I go before my wife then this, we've been together since I was 15 and her 16 so have grown up together since being kids really, now have three kids one of which is older than I was when we met, this would sum it up as she really has been the one for me,

I quite like the idea of Bee Gees - Stayin Alive.

What about Look on the Bright Side of Life?

Also...

Heartattack and Vine.

Ding dong the witch is dead. Mother in Law?

Smoke gets in your eyes. Ideal for a cremation?

That's the one that I always think of...

The other is the Green Day song often referred to as 'Time of your life' but is actually titled "Good Riddance"

Ah, but it's not just the song - it's the performance you need to focus on....

My mother wanted (and got) songs from Rocky Horror - the focus of which was an actor dressed appropriately as a transvestite in a black bodice and stockings etc. - singing Sweet Transvestite.

Considering the occasion it was surprisingly entertaining, if a little bizzare!
