However, we're off on our 1st proper beach hotel family holiday at the end of this month in Crete.
Crete is a lovely place, enjoy!

I am perfectly happy relaxing with my inner life. On a beach or by the pool is fine with me.

Agree with other defenders of the right to do nothing. In the right amount it is blissful

Beach holidays are a complete mystery to me, growing up we never did them and I've continued the trend into adulthood.
Most of my holidays for the last decade have been to the USA, where I've covered nearly 50,000 miles whilst visiting 45 states...

I spend 4 months minimum planning every aspect of my holidays... not everyone's idea of a good time but I love it.

I love the sun and I love cooking in it, however when I'm cooking in it I'll be doing something, I do struggle to just lie there, although the last holiday I did enjoy just laying there and reading the internet on my phone, I found it very relaxing, but even still I'm doing something.

The mrs will lie there for hours though, god knows what she's thinking hehe
