As a recent graduate, I'm worth roughly -£20K. Rather depressing!

Just wait till you get a wife, mortgage and kids, you'll hark back to the days of "only" being in -£20k hehe

Not a clue as I'm not really sure what the house is worth or the exact figure of the mortgage outstanding, we paid a decent deposit but have only had it two years, just spunked all our cash on doing it up too. One car leased, one owned.

I'm a peasant, bawically - am I still allowed to post here?

Not sure how everyone is basing there calculations?

For me the large sums of money I have are in my pension pot that I can't touch for some years yet and my house. The rest of it amounts to not much more than about £20k and that will go on a loft conversion we're having done soon (though may add value to the house).

Pension ~£250k
House Value ~£250k
Mortgage ~£150k

Therefore equity in house (£100k) plus pension = £350k.

Did hear something on the radio about a dramatic increase in the number of millionaires in the country though this is predominately down to the inflated property prices in the SE/London. Sadly I'm not one of them, yet.

It's pretty simple to work out.

If you sold up absolutely everything then emptied your bank accounts, pension funds and shares etc, how much would you have in your money pile?

If you have any form of debts such as loans or credit cards, you need to minus those from the final total.

That's fairly easily unless I'm missing something??

13% of the forum (at present votes) are multi-millionaires.

Should be an award for richest forum in the UK.

Worrying about another man’s pocket is not reflective of a real man’s perspective. Real men do not give a fk about how much another man got.

You getting divorced?

Or did somebody mention your Enron shares which you've been clinging to probably aren't worth much anymore?

So 21% so far are millionaires/multi millionaires, which just goes to show based on a very high proportion of the threads on here, you don't need too much class or intelligence to get rich wink
No, 21% have clicked the millionaire/multi millionaire button. Not the same thing at all. wink

The fact that at the point of voting the category with the largest percentage are millionaires means I smell some serious delusion or just outright bullst.

I don't like things like this, they cause me to think about how poor people I am.
The rest of the time I ignore it and pretend by sitting and writing a zero next to the five on a big stack (of 5) £5 notes. Big I am right here.

Not saying there are some liars on this forum, but I reckon a penis length vote would be more accurate.
