Not saying there are some liars on this forum, but I reckon a penis length vote would be more accurate.
Or some people don't know how net worth works? Or the other option is there is a lot of old people who bought a house in the South East many years ago and so have become millionaires through the massive house price increases.

Relatively new on the housing market here, so generally quite big minus number here - something around -100 000. For those who care about sharing money then here in Norway anyone can check it with a quick search so doesn't really matter about "hiding" it.

Lots of people in the SE have million plus homes with decent ( pension) jobs that are late forties up ( lots on here) and will have no mortgage so will all be a million plus . Not that hard.

Generally high net worth individuals are classed as liquid assets - cash and equity - that would be a lower percentage.

However there are a lot of people in PH in this category. I could pick poss 20 plus just on evidential posting history ( eg "garage build" thread)

Some folks really have done well. Let's congratulate them

If you have ready access to a million plus you are HNW - think this is what Couts use

Why the faff & angst?

The poll is anon, so just vote, end of. What's hard about that?

If people were to vote honestly, it would be interesting to see the results. No discussion needed, just the results of the poll.

It's times like this where a threadless poll option would be handy.

(sigh)

I didn't say they weren't, rather it was meant as a caveat of sorts.

Value of member's motors etc. May have been more interesting.

Maybe some people just pick any option.

Or some people to rather well for themselves.

Guess we'll never know
Yeap, I wasn't meaning anything more than it is probably a lot more common than people might think in regards to there being a lot of millionaires if you think about houses rather than disbelieving anyone is doing well for themselves.

What is net worth?

I live by seaside and my local shop sells them along with bucket and spade.

I ask man in shop what is net worth? He will say whatever sticker say. I say whatever customer prepared to pay.

Cash is king.

This answer?

Probably around £3,000, last year would have been £18,000

How do you calculate your net worth?

Assets minus debt?

What about salary - that must have something to do with it too?

I don't want to calculate the actual figure for fear of becoming depressed however it's quite a large negative for me. laugh

For those who are truly multi-millionaires and didn't inherit their wealth, fair play and congratulations.

I'd say just over zero, maybe 2k. I own my mx5 and an xbox one and thats about it really. Oh and part share a MX5 track car thats worth a little over zero.

I am 21 and a student(Not uni yet, so no debt wink )/work part time. Never inherited anything, not going too either. Working class breadline family.

I'd say im doing quite well so far, going by how many scrotes on my facebook are debted upto their eyeballs.
