It could be anything :

A yacht
A gun
A watch
A ring
A Faberge egg
A car
A chair
A teaspoon

What, for you, is the most desirable object made by man? Ever.

Cost, practicality and functionality are not an issue.

My offering - the Riva Aquarama:

Easy. Concorde. Modified for in-air refuelling. Plus associated tankers and unlimited fuel. Of course.

Specifically? The Compagna Sestriere piccolo with its 10mm fluted silver cup and titanium / carbon fibre stem. If only for the stir / stability ratio.

Anyway.

It's a nice thing, but not as desirable as a Riva Aquarama.

I note also that others are posting women as "objects".

Poor form

Gotta be that, then.

From a materiality PoV, my own spit, which I could fly, would be heaven!

'Oh, taking your 911 out for a spin are you? I think I'll take the spit for a razz' wink

Also means my kid would have the ultimate trump card!

hehe

Two things spring to mind for me. 1) i would love a gold bar. Not for the value aspect, and i personally dislike gold jewelry. But everytime i see a gold bar there just seems to be something otherworldly about it:

2) And i'd also like a Colt 1911. Doesnt need to have bullets - i'd just like it to hold/cuddle/play with when im watching a cool action movie. Its the classic pistol shape.

Both Concorde and Riva Aquarama feature very highly on my list cloud9

If push came to shove, I think it would have to be one of these (there is only one), though I'm sure it will change tomorrow;

Actually I want to upscale my dream! All the Concorde's set up as a racing series round a scaled up Red Bull stylee course over the atlantic - one for each country. The Russians can bring along their TU-144's if anyone is brave enough to fly them and SR-71's would also be allowed but would have to complete the same course - inc tight curves! I've given too much thought to this haven't I!

We did a job for a guy who did exactly that, all be it in his P51 Mustang.

Dive bombed his house while we were installing his bench tops. Sounded absolutely fantastic cloud9

Thread should have ended here (albeit with constant reposts of this picture).
