Eaten anything pickled.
I like onions. I like vinegar. The two do not go together IMO.
I was a fussy eater as a kid, cold Sunday buffet type meals filled me with dread. My folks liked anything cold that could be stored in a glass vessel - pickled onions, beetroot, piccalilli, pickled eggs, the lot ....
I think a lot of it is to do with them being wartime kids, that was the diet of the time. Fortunately they have travelled fairly extensively since, and now have a totally different diet thanks to that, so when I visit now meals are a Mediterranean delight of nice stuff. The old man still can't resist spoiling his tapas with a bit of beetroot though!

I've never met a nice South African.
Funny that as I've heard that from various people; I sell cars and I've sold a fair few to South Africans, I like them and love dealing with them and I love it if one comes in to buy one, they are the friendliest and easiest people to deal with, as long as you treat them with respect and you don't bullst them, they can be great fun for a bit of banter too. understood cricket
You mean don't understand the rules of throw ball, hit ball, run/catch ball? Or understand why it's a popular phenomenon?I understand the game/sport, but not why it's more popular than women's beach volleyball, or watching someone mow a lawn.
